This is great advice! I'm at the beginning of my pen restoration journey and I wish I'd find this video even sooner.

Absolutely fantastic video and a treasure trove of useful information for those of us wanting to go down the vintage pen route. Your green collection is making me feel a bit better for my tendency to constantly be drawn to green fountain pens, and then wondering if I perhaps already have too many green pens. The answer is that you can never have enough.

Thanks, Bryan, that was really good. Some useful and interesting information. You have given me some ideas for fixing one or two old pens that I own.

I feel so bad, for that large Moore pen 🙁 I hope you were able to fix that pen. Totally agree about buying from a reputable seller.

I was able to fix it, and it works well. The retailer finally got back to me but was not apologetic, they instead said that they are experts and they didn't really believe me. I could have sent it back to them, but didn't want someone else buying it and being disappointed.

Yay, it's good to hear, you've fixed the pen ! You must have high level skills. I'm envious. I'm not surprised by the seller's reaction. Just by the condition of the pen. Are they a well known seller? Can you give a hint to their identity 😂

Great deal on that Conklin, but my minimal experience echoes yours in that pickings are limited and prices crazy for the most pace. When I was younger one could find them at much better prices… before eBay and antique malls.

Do you mind letting us know who to avoid that pulled that caper with the Moore
