Great video, I'm a rookie hit and miss engine restorer (grandfathers's 1.5 HP is my first go), and having a bit of an issue with the buzz coil Probably a stupid question, but you moved the positive line from the battery to the micro switch, but where was it before that? In short, where do I put it to get power to the system?
@RustyGlovebox

The mirco switch is the supply location for power ( 30 pin on the relay) It makes the connection for the power to activate the relay.

@RustyGlovebox

A motorcycle battery would work it. Once the waste oil burner started burning it should keep burning till you turned the oil off ...or do you think the buzz coil would have to buzz all the time?

Sir I have question culd those relays replace ignition modules? I want to build waste spark system useing just relays in reverse polarity culd I some how use my induction triger inside the distributor to activate those relays? The thing is I belive my gm 4 pin ignition module is polarity senzitive and aperantly I have voltage regulator inside my dashboard I wuld like to bypass that problem because I found on my starter motor R terminal selenoid so I want litel more voltage and curent on engin start up because of winter time I always have problems starting due to many reasons expecialy bade fuel. So any thing you can help my?I some how figured out that I culd add some capacitors with that ignition coil for litel more power hoter spark just on start up .

For those of us who do not have a Bosch relay, please explain which terminals are the coil and which are the points? Also, was the demo powered by a battery or a battery charger?
@RustyGlovebox
9 жыл бұрын
+rwruther A Bosch relay is a small square 5 pin relay and each of the pin locations are numbered. The relay is actually acts as the points but acting in a buzzing action, the micro switch is only for the off and on function. I used a battery charger to operate it but will use a battery on the engine later.

Hello sir can you give any good advice how can I use 3 4 6 pin relay to me ignition coil? I dont have 5 pin relay. I also have problem me car uses pick up coil /4 pin gm ignition module and E core type ignition coil 4 pins . So I try some how to figure out how to manuali retard me ignition timing. The 4 pin GM ignition module is sloppy in winter time and I have no way to retard me ignition timing . The 5pin gm ignition module has not enough retarding option I like me ignition timing to be more advanved due to bether fuel economi. I have 500k potenciometer so I never done those small circuets before . So I hoppe for some advice how can I make me ignition timing variabel in degree and if posibly bypass baterry voltage to relay directly or use different capacitors as amplifiers . So any help wuld be nice. Im not shure if normal relays culd run me ignition coil they did in the past but me ignition module varies frequency from 33-333hz in stages . So Im not shure what relay to use that can folow the ignition modules fiering sequence.
