I would have liked a zipper pocket along the back like most other slings I have been looking at recently. However it would have been a no brainer at $129. At $169, I’ll keep it on my radar but I’m not sold yet.

Those small attachment points are meant to act as counterpulls to make it easier to open and close the zippers. I mean, you can use them to attach gear but their actual intended use is as counterpulls.

Nice review. You really show all the features. Waterfield makes beautiful bags handmade in the US. Yes, they cost a bit more than something made abroad but worth it IMHO. I have a different sling from Waterfield and I use it as an organizer in a larger bag. When you get where you are going and need a smaller bag, it comes out and goes with, while the bigger bag stays at the hotel. Waterfield also stands behind their products. Buy the best, cry once.

I like the leather front a lot, I wish NutSac and these guys could CoLab and put their sling products together… they both fell a little short in areas where the other excelled, but this is nicer & cheaper than the NutSac Speed Sling.

WaterField is awesome. I had a nutsac sling for a while and while it was well made I couldn’t make it my edc because of that stupid name. At some point someone at my church is going to ask me where I got this cool bag. 👎🏻 I’ve been eying WaterField for a bit. Everything they have is professional looking and rugged. I picked up the Essential Crossbody and I like dig it. The mason sling looks great too.

It's on the expensive side just because it has made in USA in it tbh. Not doubting quality or anything but yeah, with $120 sure, pricey but reasonable. 169 is just not a good price.

I need to cancel my subscription to this channel, you make me want to buy too many bags. The orange interior reminds me of my bags from Alpaka. Specifically the "Alpaka Elements Tech Case". I also have the "Alpaka Bravo Sling" in the default and max size, if you don't know those, you might want to check them out, too.

Is that the Roaring Fire Sling bag in the background ? Thats what I have been using, but I put too much crap in it I find myself leaving it in the car. This is something I may need. Another layer for minimal carry days, or with a sling bag in the trunk.

You really should edit this video to correct the price to $169. I was all set to buy this based on your review, and then reality set in. I’m a big fan of yours, and trust your reviews. This one left me a bit disappointed, especially knowing the video is 3 weeks old. Perhaps they gave you bad information to work with…either way it should be corrected.

Some of us remember when they sold dolls to boys and called them Action figures... tell me how that sling isn't a purse? Its leather, over priced, you put your wallet in it and you wear it over your shoulder. X? have you turned into QVC? cause you are giving me that vibe with this sales pitch. Go on go watch QVC for 15 seconds, then watch this video to see the similarities. The only thing you are missing is an overlay with an item number, price and count down clock displaying how many minutes you can spend hyping this purse. From a production value perspective, this video is about as lazy as the QVC stuff only missing a lazy Susan to spin that purse upon. Would have been better if you did some shots of the item while slowly and smoothly moving toward it with your camera on rails or a steadicam gimball. Followed by some action shots of you riding your one wheel to a local shop and buying a what-a-burger with the cash in your purse. Still don't believe that it's a purse? Ask your kids, you can trust that they will be brutally honest.
