Friday 6th June is the last day for our bendy buses to run in service. After 13 years in our fleet, here are some factoids about our bendy buses as they retire from NCT.
Only two doors for a 60 foot bus ... in Switzerland, there are four or five doors over such a length. :) Greetings from Switzerland. ^^

2 of these have survived. 702 is a libary bus at a school and 704 is at a transport museum in Hucknall. That's the only one on the road.

NCT seems to replace buses pretty quickly. The double-decker buses that replaced the bendys on the 58 line have already been replaced now...

John 1969 No test was required. The operator just needed to make sure that they had some evidence to prove you’d had some training in them. The training could be done in-house.
