I like how the engineers are just taking their time like "yeah yeah I know there's figthing going on 500m from here but my shift only starts at 9"

Oh man. This one cutscene holds such a special place in my heart. Being seven years old and playing this for the first time, I had never seen anything like it. The concept was new and the game, even thought I was far too young to really understand it, hooked me hard. Hell, I even went and (badly) built an MCV out of Lego. A horrible mismash of parts that could arguably unfold in a similar manner as the cutscene and ingame sprite showed - even if I never did get the crane to fit properly inside it...

The MCV tech makes no sense its basically mobile trucks that when re deployed magically make a profund tunnel in the ground where the main console goes underground(the main cabin with all the computers ) the thing it bothers me its how exactly buildings re raised from underground to the surface.

I imagine this is based on some form of 3D printing technology with drones (too small to see) printing the 'concrete' around it and the mainframe containing a massive 3D printer that takes tiberium as input and outputs prefab construction materials.
@justjoking5841

Do you think that the MCV could be a massive mobile 3d Printer? I mean it fabricates buildings from nothing in a short period of time, there is a strict build radius around it, and it carries some construction and engineering equipment.

Partly, but in universe I think the ready availability of metals and other materials from Tiberium harvesting made construction of buildings and vehicles much simpler.

@@lordfrostwind3151 though this doesn't make sense before 1995. I think the most likely alternative would be that Kane worked together with Tesla in inventing a lot of the stuff seen, and that is why its further ahead. Kane even mentions once that he helped mankind out, potentially after Hitlers death he for some reason felt comfortable starting to influence the world.

In game, they are 2d pixel sprites, however the cutscenes are 3d renders. TS/RA2 use voxel art, while everything after is full 3d rendering.
