Vocal Mix required a remix....video was a little out of sync too...so I fixed them...I'm OCD about that sort of thing.
Anyway...I'm just a guy who always loved this song and the quality trying to do a different version with no real expectations....Ten years on youtube and i have 73 subscribers so nobody watches my stuff anyway....This version is similar but different too....I tried to stay true to the way Stevie Ray Vaughn sang it....but it's a little different as well. I cannot copy his playing style....he truly was in a world all his own. Great player...great song! I just hope he likes this version from someone who appreciates the blues and his committment and contributions to the world of music artistry. His version has such great tone gifted with a smooth, steady, pocket.... I don't have that kind of a budget but this turned out reasonably well for a Hughes & Kettner Grandmeister 36, with a contributing Schecter C-1 Custom. It's different in it's own way and sounds pretty good for playing in my garage and recording.....Anyway.....rest in peace SRV, and thank you for the contributions and for expressing yourself through music. Enjoy folks!
