In this followup video to the previous, we set up a modern SAM deployment with modern types of weapons. Amazing how technology has evolved so far in a short time.
Really good! One feature that I don't think is modelled in CMO neither in CMANO are the Soviet/Russian AD datalinks, those enable SAM Bn to fire without turning on their own engagement radars if they have ARH missiles, like the SA-21. Normal search radars can provide firing solutions and midcourse guidance data to SAMs through this datalink, including very special radars like the Nebo-M ones both the VHF and L-band, they're great against VLOs. Also yes the Pantsir is fantastic, marvellous platform with great sensors and excellent %pk for its weapons, even the cannons; also the fact that the missiles can be guided by the IR camera if the jamming is extreme enough, usually they're deployed in two pairs. Great tutorial!

Really interesting detail about the B2 at the end there. Who lost more $$$ in this engagement? I'm guessing NATO by a factor of 10?

as an estimate 1x B-2A ~ $1.5B 11x F-35B ~ $1.65B 12x Tornado ~ $540M 12x Typhoon ~ $840M 160x AGM-158A $136M so around 4.7 billion USD not counting other munitions for NATO thing is this could have come out fairly evenly or heavily on favour of NATO since I see they took out some major infrastructure. The Gas power station and oil refinery stand out. You can expect a gas power station to cost 1-2 billion and an oil refinery to go anywhere from 200million to 10 billion. Geothermal plants are also extremely expensive to build but it's hard to say how much damage this kind of strike would really cause since the exploration is done and drilled wells could be salvageable. Other things like the submarine pens, large military leadership compound, industrial plant, military base, etc. probably have a very large price tag attached as well. If there was a sub in that pen you can look at a 2-4billion loss

Nice scenario again, would liked too of seen the Storm Shadow on the Typhoon or Tornado in action.

Nice tutorials about classic and modern air defense system setups, though I wonder how differently these scenarios would've played out if the ADSs were supplemented by aircraft (such as a mix of stealth and non-stealth fighters). Perhaps you could create a scenario where an island nation (such as Japan or Cuba) has to fight off and counterattack against an enemy invasion attempt (by, say, China or the United States) which would involve long-range (stealth) bombers, carrier-launched (stealth) fighters and bombers, and ship and submarine-launched cruise missiles, with the twin goals of protecting as many assets as you can, whilst also destroying as many enemy assets as possible (especially carriers, submarines, and bombers)?

So is this the natural behavior of the AI when given some assets and the location of a few targets, or was their behavior pre-scripted?

All built in and set by the WRA and doctrine. It can be scripted as necessary, but it is involved.
