The *Ornate Jobfish* , also known as _Pristipomoides argyrogrammicus_ , is a species of fish with bright blue spots resembling woodworm. Its upper part is reddish, back is yellow, and sides and belly are silvery, sometimes pinkish. This edible fish is found in the Indo-West Pacific and occurs over rocky bottoms at depths of 70-300 meters. It is carnivorous, feeding on small fishes, crustaceans, and squids. The species is found in the Indo-Pacific: East Africa to the Society Islands, north to southern Japan, south to New Caledonia.
