CRP starts at 02:00 minutes. If the level goes beyond 10 mg/L that means there is chronic bacterial infection.

CRP was so named because it was first identified as a substance in the serum of patients with acute inflammation that reacted with the cell wall polysaccharide (C-polysaccharide) of pneumococcus. So the name C reactive protein
