Did you have to replace the balancer after this video? Is that where he sqeak was coming from?

The squeak sound was actually just an exhaust clamp that was loose. The car definitely has some valve train noise now, but from what others have told me it’s completely normal. I’ve put over 500 miles on it since it’s been tuned and haven’t had any issues other than some tweaks made to the original tune

@@ModdedProjectsGarage I'm a new C5 owner. I checked out your Header install video, great job btw. Wanted to ask what those hoses (2) were that never got connected back onto the headers(i believe one was cut off w/scissors). I'm assuming they're not necessary and won't cause the check engine light to turn on?

Thanks I appreciate it! So, the two lines that bolt onto the exhaust manifolds are for the air pump. It’s a type of emissions. You won’t be able to take both of the lines off unless you take the intake off because the passenger side line is bolted behind the head. I’m assuming it will cause a check engine light, but I could be wrong. After I installed my headers I removed the air pump and my rear o2 sensors. I know the rear o2 sensor delete will cause a code, but I’m not 100% sure if just the air pump removal will or not. Of course after a tune you will no longer have any check engine codes 👍 yellowvette04 has a good video on removing the air pump

Congrats on the growth of the channel. Headers and xpipe definitely wake up the C5 and make it sound the way it should. If that is your balancer on the way out, then cam will be a lot sooner that you expected lol.
