Buona sera amici!!!
Buona visione!!!
(ENG):
Good evening friends!!!
After a long period of time, Cab View finally returns, this type of video concerning the driver's perspective and which allows you viewers of the video to understand well the operation of the controls of each individual tractor, as well as to understand the processing as it is carried out, in this case plowing.
We are aboard the John Deere 3350, a historic vehicle, which is part of the history of the deer brand, a machine entirely produced and assembled in 1989, in the plant in Werke Mannheim, Germany.
The 3350 is part of the John Deere 50 series, which consisted of several models, but I will list only the more "commercial" models, those that have proved to be "best" because they are the best sellers, I'm talking about the 4-cylinder models, 24 , 26 and 2850, and then go directly to the 6-cylinder 30, 33 and 3650.
The latter 3 were equipped with a 5.9-liter John Deere 6-cylinder engine, with 90 hp with the 3050, 100 hp round round in the 3350, and over 130 hp in the case of the 3650 which instead was equipped with a turbine, which instead the 3050 and 3350 had none.
In these cars here, the Full-Powershift transmission was fitted which included 16 forward and 8 reverse gears. All these ratios were divided into 2 ranges, with 8 half gears on each, which then became 4 full gears, for each range.
You have to take into account that each gear broke by half, so to make a full gear you needed 2 half gears, which in total on each range were 8, practically a simple Hi-Lo transmission, where on each gear (1, 2, 3, 4) there was the break of the gear with the possibility of adding or removing half a gear to become for example the gear 2 increased by half and becoming 2.5 so to speak.
As far as the plow is concerned, also in this case we are talking about a historical tool, a Monza plow, produced by the Monza plows company which today is a closed company, which no longer produces agricultural work tools.
The plowing of this 1 ha plot will be carried out for a future sowing of alfalfa, in a medium-textured soil previously cultivated with wheat.
All plowing will be done (you will see it in the video anyway) n at a speed of about 5 km / h with the third gear of range 1 without half gear engaged.
Well, having said that, I thank the driver Roberto, owner of the vehicle, for his willingness to make this video.
Good vision!!!
