I would collect all those cedar planks instead of letting them go to waste. They can be sanded and reused for something. I remember those types of cans as a kid. I think they were called pull tabs.

I recommend visiting chornobyl and pripyat if you ever have the means, there's quite cheap guided tours for them. It's very interesting seeing how everything has decayed over time

That ski jump was the biggest in the eastern USA for many decades. It hosted national championships and Olympic trials. It's over 110 feet high and, I think, over 300 feet long. I also think that ski jumpers are NUTS!! 🤤😲😜

It just goes to show, that when man leaves, nature takes over. I bet in its heyday, those cabins were a nice place to stay. Whenever my family went on vacation, we always tried to get a cabin or a condo. We liked the cabins the best. Thanks for sharing Post 10. I always enjoy your videos.

I would've called the police on that car to report a dangerous driver tbh, that's so irresponsible. I often drive in unfamiliar rural areas so I drive slower than the folks who live there and I ALWAYS pull over to let them pass as soon as it's safe to do so

It looks like an old hunting shack, and that fancy plywood is T1-11 which is not real popular now but was in the 1950's. You can still buy it at big-box stores. It was used to make houses quickly and cheaply after WWII.

There should be underground pipes to suck liquid water from the bottom, and I’d expect to see double couplings (one air and one water) along each side of the jump and the landing slope for the machines to connect to (maybe all salvaged by now).

As an archaeology buff, So much of what we know of ancient history is because we dug something out of their trash heap, broken pieces of pottery, discarded tools, millstones worn smooth with use. Anytime I see somebody digging into 30+ year old ruins, I automatically think "potsherds!" This was so much fun to watch.
