Thanks for that review, I have that watch and I did think the top pusher felt a bit weird as it pushes in but doesn't start straight away, you need to click it firmly again to start the chronograph. It works every time, I haven't come across a time when I've doubted if there's a fault. I did mistakenly press the reset button while the chrono was still working and I did worry I might have done some damage but apart from the slight doubt about the pusher, everything seems to be working fine.

Thank you for a good review, i have always liked the Seagull 190 movement. I agree about the 1963 Red Star watch, i havent bought one either. I went over to my brother and checked oug our fatherds Breitling Navitimer from the 50s, he had it renovated in 2010. It has the Venus 175 movement, The original of the Seagull, it does not have the bug in your Cadisen.

Could you possibly review the Casio MTP-M300M? Beautiful panda style watch from Casio with a moonphase subdial.

Sorry, I can only find them on eBay for $100 plus $35 shipping. Too much money for me for a Casio.

Awesome I am not the only one who feels that way. As US Army veteran I refuse to buy a 1963. I get around the “hypocritical” question by reasoning that I am sticking it to the Swiss Lizard billionaires that wanna strip me of every penny of my money because of my watch addiction. Give ‘em hell. Whoa!

I just tried pressing the reset button before the chronohraphs stopped. Nothing happened. Sugess watch, same movement.

The chronograph issue you are having is not a feature, it is a bug. I have a handful of watches with ST-190X movements. It shouldn't stop like that. Does it really happen every time you start the chronograph from the 12 o'clock position? It looked like there wasn't a problem when you demonstrated restarting the chronograph at the 6:06 mark in your video. In any event, none of mine stop on their own like that when I start the chronograph. I did have a problem with one of my ST-1901 watches. When it arrived, the chronograph would only function if the watch was laying flat on a table; it would not work on my wrist. It was repaired under warranty. (The watch was from a USA-based brand with excellent customer service.) And, 10ATM of water resistance on that watch seems aspirational to me.

Luv your channel but i think you are mistaken i have an Invicta Prodiver with with the NH35 that hacks, hand winds and has a screw down crown.

NH35 is an automatic. When it is fully wound the crown will still turn.

this or TIMEX Q ?

That's really an apples to oranges comparison. This watch is more fun but I would call the Timex more useful. If you are only a one watch person I would take the Timex. If you want to add something cool to a collection, I would take the Cadisen.

Timex now makes a Q with GMT and chronograph functions so you can get a three watch collection in a single watch.
