An exquisite Shropshire hill. Rising up from the Redlake valley like an eagle's beak. Like so many Shropshire hills, it is crowned with an iron age fort of considerable size. Plenty of free parking in the 'Village Hall' car-park in the delightful village of Chapel Lawn, and then head towards Squire Farm (staying to the single lane track until you meet a galvanised kissing gate on your right). The land is now 'open access', but please keep dogs on a lead.
Confusingly, it shares it's name with another Shropshire hill (perhaps slightly more visited) close to Church Stretton. If I was Chieftain Caradog/Caractacus I would make my last stand against the Romans on the Church Stretton Caradoc... much better to defend. I would however come here for a lovely quiet picnic with my Celtic warriors.
