Nice Martin, Great work on those. as my units are 30-40 figs I prefer to do ten at a time with the same look and add different coloured stripes, shields I tend do the lot at once breaking them into base colours so I can paint the spines and outer edges to match the base.

Having taken 10 months to paint my ECW army for Pike and Shotte, I now have a Seleucid army to do for Hail Caesar. I think a mix of contrast/speed/standard paints will be the way to go. Excellent tutorial.

Love these paint tutorials and the live plays! Because of your live plays I took the plunge and ordered some Perry Miniatures Wars of the Roses minis! First set should be here today! Can’t wait to get my hands on them, paint them up, and then corral a buddy or two into playing a game or two. Keep up the good work!
