Caitlin is flirting with triple doubles every night, running point, and is #1 on every team’s scoutings report. It’s crazy to be comparing her to someone getting double doubles in rebounds. Reese is a baller for sure but if there were no politics or resentment, this wouldn’t even be considered a race.

@liftnleap9815

@@Snafu2346all about race. If CC was black they would be propping her up to the highest level. They're trying it with Angel Reese and it's literally the equivalent to trying to award Draymond Green over Stephen Curry. Cool you get rebounds cuz you miss a lot of shots but if you're so dominant why is Caitlin at 6'1" being a guard averaging more blocks per game than Reese? It's all about her being white invading a black space. Not to mention ESPN has been pretty anti-white/anti-conservative over the last few years

I would compare Caitlins skills, gameplay and leadership to Magic Johnson's rookie year. Magic was already on a winning team while Caitlin has brought a cellar team up from the ashes to be a team to be reckoned with. Caitlin led her team to beat a 17 and 3 best record in the league team. Her Triple Double doesn't surprise me. She is always around the ball in the right place at the right time which leads to her defensive rebounding which leads to her fast breaks. I truly believe that she is doing this with all the teams double teaming her which leads to her passing when doubled which leads to her assists. I have only been watching her since her senior year in college and March Madness. I am now watching all her games on Methstream. Win or lose, I will always tune in. I cheered so loud that my neighbors next door could hear me.

Hate to say it; but this is what Christie Sides did well, today: 1. Kept Wallace Out & Hull IN. Minimized Eric Wheeler's Play. 2. Putting in the new player, Dimiris Dantas., who got 7 pts going 3 for 3, with 5-6 minutes total playing time. 3. Called 2 critical time-outs to halt the 2 major runs put up by the Liberty Team. What Caitlin did well: 1. Stopped shooting 3's when she when the well went dry 2. She sped up the pace of transition after missed shots by the Liberty, getting loose balls on def rebounds. 3. This pace caused the Liberty to have to move off the boards for OFFENSV Rebounds which gave CC more loose ball DEF rebounds. What Lexi Hull did well: 1. DEF Stops on Olympic Level Talent 2. Got 2-3 strategic loose ball OFFENSIVE Rebounds; she's been proving herself on that one all season. 3. She plays Caitlin's type ball and actually sets CC up for some 3's when she's out there on the court. What Nalissa Smith did well: 1. She has obviously practiced a little bit on fouls shots. What Kelsey Mitchell did well: 1. She has decided to relax enough to play off-ball-point-guard, allowing Caitlin to be the field general. 2. When the shot clock is running down & nothing is going in; give it to Kelsey. 3. Twice Kelsey advanced down court; quickly & found out that CC advanced the ball to her both times on fast breaks NOTE: Have someone else other than Boston or Smith to bring the ball in for they are jogging too slow up the court & are single-handedly slowing down the whole damn game. CC is constantly pushing the ball down the court which opens up shots for everyone. QUESTION: This is my pet-peeve; but can someone make a lay-up without the ball bouncing around the rim, so much. Because I am an obsessive about higher quality basketball, learn how to bounce the lay-up much higher off the backboard, so it falls back through the net more cleanly. Use Kelsey Mitchell & Lexi Hull as examples of ones who do it right. SUMMARY / CONCLUSION: The Level of Play of the WNBA has been so mediocre for so long that one player CAN improve the look & feel of a last place team to put that same team into first time ever Play-Off contention. Christie Sides needs to watch the film replay footage of this game over -n-over to take notes because Caitlin Clark has deservedly earned the position of 'team field general' & Coach sides needs to make all her decisions with that in mind, that that has happened. (No Going Backwards on that achieved milestone) For the 2 minutes that Caitlin did not play at the end of the 2nd quarter, the Liberty caught up about 8 pts of a 14-point differential. Eric Wheeler coming in seriously interrupted the flow of what CC had established. Maybe only suffer damage by having CC only go out for 1 minute before the end of the half. CC has proven to be the team's spark plug player.

Is Sides finally learning how to coach the Fever? She did use Lexie Hull and Damiris Dantas, both of them should have played more minutes. Clark finally started to shoot more. It seems like the "W" has thought of Clark as a shooter. She's being guarded closely from the logos in. When you see her college highlights, yes, she's scoring at will from distance but she's also wide open! Not anymore, and her efficiency isn't what it was in college. At least so far. What the league is finding out now is that she's an ELITE passer. Her teammates are not as surprised when she serves up these brilliant dimes, so they are catching the passes and making the open layups, instead of acting like they're in shock! And how does a point guard lead her team in rebounds, most games? The same incredible court vision that leads to the great passes, and the sense that 35 feet is the new 15 when she has the ball, I guess. So, do we understand Caitlin Clark yet? I'm a Celtics fan who watched Larry Bird in person at least fifty times. I've also just seen Jayson Tatum change from a scorer to a leader who makes his teammates better and really hard to beat. I understand Caitlin Clark.

Truly a MAJOR improvement for the WNBA, so scrambled with silly players that don't even know their nature and act as ignorant gang bullies or stupid street scum. An abomination / aberration type of player that mars the sport and spills such a detriment in front of so many young people. Hence, again, the difference that a player like CC makes to clean up the WNBA act, creating a hope for a real role model, especially for the kids and fans in general. MAJOR impact.
