🔔 To what extent do you think Caitlin Clark should express her frustration during games, considering her role as a role model for young people? Let us know in the comments!

It’s funny. CC loses her cool for a moment. Happens. Then folks questioning her as a role model. I wonder, 🤔, has anyone ever seen MJ, who I consider one of the best to ever have played the game, not lose his cool? Of course not. And EVERYONE still used him as a role model. Still do. Even he had his limit. And watch out once he got there. He made you pay. He backed down to no one. LeBron too. CC is doing just fine. She has her limits. She’s human. Still one helluva player and teammate. And she’s a great role model as well.

I agree, if you look at how they played in their last game, they looked a lot more refined, focused, as if they are just starting to gel. It is just starting to become a team, and they look a -lot- different then at the beginning of the season. Magic Johnson had the same issue his rookie year. People weren't expecting the ball, couldn't handle the ball, or even running through the screens at full speed because they didn't think they would get a pass.

I'm a woman and I'm embarrassed by many of the behaviours that I've seen on the WNBA court exhibited by these "professional" athletes. Acting like elementary school children instead of professionals. The coaches don't seem to be better and don't seem to know how to answer the same kind of questions posed to other athletes and coaches at a professional level. It's top down failure. However, some of the blame goes to the journalists as well. Why would they constantly ask other athletes about CC22? Ask questions pertaining to that athlete and the game. And let's face it, some of those journalists ask the same old boring questions. Nonetheless, these people seem to be unable or unwilling to pivot and make changes to help themselves. Even as a non athlete people need to be coachable if they want to improve.

She wasn't just hugging her, she was flopping/rubbing on her in a very odd way. If that was a man who flopped/rubbed up against her in that way, we'd all be saying he was trying to get a feel, or something. I'm sorry, I'm not sure if that woman is straight, or not, but I would have been completely grossed out by her actions. It was not normal and I would have gotten very upset and pushed her off myself...You see CC tell her to stop flopping on her. So, to me, it wasn't the blocking it was how she was flopping/rubbing up against her that was upsetting CC....

I averaged 33 pts a game in high school in Dallas and was called the female And1 because i would shoot around in pre game with my ex during And1 tours and as a female did not like to play with other females (was a HUGE tomboy, and always practiced with guys) and i went to school in the 90s so no matter how good you are, womens basketball ball wasnt really a thing except overseas and still nothing to be excited about. But i had a girl to this, holding my jersey, almost kissing me, lol and i got tired of it , so when i was running down the court, i saw her coming from the side and i purposely stop holding the ball up, ELBOW out and acted like i was going to pass with quick UNNATURAL lol left jerk aiming perfectly to her nose as she “ran into my elbow” lol. Look, was it petty, yes… do i regret it ? No, it was a life lesson for her.. want to cross personal space, then suffer an elbow jab to the nose. Bet she never did that again! Lol

If you’ve ever played competitive basketball, especially pick up games on an outdoor court, you can’t let someone push you around. Vanderloo was actually fouling Clark continually with her “spandex”defense. You have to give the offensive player room to move. Instead Vanderloo was continually bodying Clark. I have to fault the refs for allowing it to go on so long that Clark felt she had to fight back and get more physical. I would have done the same thing as Clark, and did so many times against defender that seemed to want to wear my short the same time that so was wearing them.

What is the next step ? If a defense put her finger in the eye of CC and end her career, will it be enough for the referees to act and do their jobs ? If a player have the ball and a défense put her hand in the face of the offence and nothing happens, is it normal that when you don’t have the ball to have a défense in your own shorts ?
