I am a Philadelphia Phillies fan. Chase Utley was my favorite player. I loved his game and his grit. However, I disliked cheap aspects of his intended grit such as trying to get hit by pitches. This stuff from Clark reminds me of that.

I concur. Clark is a credit to Iowa basketball and to her parents. Clearly her parents raised her properly, with the correct values and correct respect. I have heard her be interviewed so many times. and she is gracious, thoughtful. It can be so easy to say the wrong thing. Particularly after a ball game when you are so amped up! She is only 20 or 21 years old. How many times does one hear crazy stuff from these kids after just finishing a ball game.

Need some accountability when commentators unfairly criticize officials, which is happening more and more. "She was fouled." NO SHE WASN'T ... and you have the benefit of watching it in slow motion replay. Red 32 is upset that she missed a layup and then got her next shot blocked.

I see a lot of people who don't really understand the strength of a college basketball player, especially one built like McMahon. You take an angry player who uses all of their force to push you, and you're not expecting it, yeah you're going to go flying. Also, CC never really gets back on her feet before that push comes. She's kind of hung up on McMahon's backside.
