Caitlin Clark Until stumbling over a news item, I had less than no interest in women's basketball, at any level. . One Second of seeing CC-22 impersonating Stephen Curry hooked me! The second second and I realized Caitlin Clark wasn't copying anybody! . Because what I know is based on clips showing her shooting half-court 3-pointers and making magical passes, reminiscent of Magic Johnson to Kareem when everyone in the stadium and home in front of their television KNEW the Sky-Hook was coming and nobody could stop it, I see patterns where the playing style of CC-22 is changing the team. Boston figured out that all she has to get below the basket, stick out a mitt and the basketball would appear in it. . Anyway, I think she is playing perfectly, playing her game and letting the team adjust to things like having a pass actually come to them, and supporting each others play. I think I see a team in name becoming a team in practice.

NEVER WATCHED the WNBA until CC started setting records in Iowa - she's getting knocked around like most rookies do, and she's handling it. Most of the women don't make much money but CC brings fans to the game & because of that, she has several endorsements making multi-millions. Leaving her off the Olympic team is a major mistake for the WNBA by whoever picks the players. She brings the same excitement and "FANS" to the game as Tiger did for golf - not to have that advantage is a giant marketing/promotion mistake, a major mistake.!!!

I'd also like to remind the WNBA playing colleagues expressing their hate and jealousy and disparaging opinions of a similar sports situation a few decades ago. When some young dude turned professional on the PGA Tour, there were many veterans who didn't like his confidence, didn't like the attention he received, and truly thought he would learn his rookie lessons the hard way. Well, it didn't take long for all of them to recognize the talent, acknowledge his physical and mental attributes, and accept the reality that was about to slap them upside the head and be inarguable about competing against him. And though it was probably a hard pill to swallow and a very humbling experience for professional athletes, the tone of their responses and attitudes soon changed for a couple of reasons. One, it was blatantly obvious that he was more talented and going to dominate the sport. And two, because of Tiger the popularity of the game exploded and resulted in huge growth in tournament purses. Getting more wealth for the players was a pretty nice benefit for a little humility and realizing the reality of the situation. This may happen to the WNBA league and players as well. Don't hate the possible Golden Goose ladies.
