Wow, that's the best Cajon mixing vid ever! Just so happens our Youth group is putting on a worship service tonight and they're using a Cajon. I'm definitely setting it up like this. Thanks Bro!

Can you do it without sending to another channel? Like direct from the bus since it is the only thing getting that low end boost.

You can send the signal directly from the BUS however it will bot work properly since you do bot have a gate on the BUS. This would result in a constant low-end signal going to tour mix. You also would not be able to send it to your live stream if you are using a MixBUS for you live stream audio.

Any advice for mixing a cajon with a built-in piezo pickup?
@AllamHouse
2 жыл бұрын
These cajons are usually not the most pleasing of sound, but I would say to spend some time with the EQ to remove any frequencies that seem to be overbearing and making it sound unnatural (probably 400Hz and 1.3kHz areas). You also might still need to use the sub low trick to add some low end in since the pickup isn't going to reproduce those lush 45Hz frequencies.

Hi what should I buy 2021 bheringer x32 or midas x32 or x32r

This depends on your budget and goals and environment (venue). The Midas M32 has better preamps and will offer a better sound... at a higher cost. The Behringer X32 is the same brains of a console, but has the entry level preamps, but saves you money. I am personally (and my church) using the Behringer and have had the same console for almost seven years. Neither of the full-size consoles are overly huge in their footprint, but the Midas M32R is a smaller platform which can be nice if you have a smaller workspace. You can build your scene to only need the top faders so you aren't flipping all around through the desk just because it offer less faders. I don't know if I actually answered the question, but there are different factors to consider in your decision.
