Taking calcium supplements apparently are not good. Best to try to get your calcium through food or milk. Also if you take vit D3, take magnesium glycinate at night and D3 during the day.

I've heard you're supposed to take the D-3 w/magnesium. We hear opposites of so much. (Magnesium Glycinate is what heard is best, too, though.)

Thank you this is great knowledge, I would prefer eat it from food as you mentioned 👆 the food lists 😃😃 I am not use to swallow tablet it will stuck in my throat and I might feel vomit it out when it enter my throat if persistant for few days taking, I like to chew vitamin C and soft gel vitamin D is better than tablet 😃😃😃🙂

I'm thrilled you let us know that Magnesium & Calcium shouldn't be taken together for the reason you mentioned. I stopped taking a multi- vitamin for this reason, and same for certain other supplements in a multi that interact with each other. My doc put me on 1500 mg calcium/day for bone density issues. It's difficult for me to eat/drink that amount, (especially finding organic dairy from grassfed cows) without supplementing with calcium glycinate or citrate, and at end of day, a plant-based calcium tablet to make up any daily shortfall. Thank you!! 🙏

Thanks for the information. I was rushed to the ER a month ago because my heart was beating too fast and then it was slow down. The ER doctor said if I had gotten there 10 minutes later, my heart would’ve stopped beating it turned out. I had a potassium deficiency, put on potassium chloride and magnesium. I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to take them at the same time. Thank you.

Thank you for your health tips, Dr. Mandell. Wondering if you have natural home remedy or cure for my runny & stuffy nose, i did the nose pinching & head inclining technique you taught me whenever i have runny nose, it helps but the symptoms keep coming back from time to time, it doesn't go away completely, i am having this health problem for everyday over 10 years already. 😢

Our body recognizes any nutrients from real FOOD, and soaks it up. Liquid minerals in drops in water is great. Be cautious of the typical vitamin waters as they are full of eyes and other synthetic ingredients.

My almost 6 yr old takes calcium because he's a picky eater. He won't eat veggies, and only has milk in cereal...but doesn't drink the milk out his cereal once it's done. His doctor only gave me a website for picky eaters and that was all

I suffer from frequent cramps and was taking potassium and magnesium, which were very effective. Now the doctor tells me not to take them because of kidney filtration at 30. So, the cramps are back in force😢

Question: Do we have to assume the same rule also for Calcium Ascorbate? I mean, the so-called Ester-C (a stomach friendly form of vitamin C). I'm taking Magnesium and Ester-C together... For better or worse, I have in recent years entirely set aside all refined supplements, preferring if possible to get my necessary nutrients from food sources over the course of each day. My one persistent concern, for reasons well known to Allah and to attentive readers of what I say (Hello, American Stasi nocent bystanders. I'm looking at you!) has since 1 July 2021 been the unavailability of water. But by the grace of God, I shall prevail. _Amīn._

Correct. Take magnesium and calcium supplement at different time. Same thing with d3 and k2. Take d3 and k2 at different time. I don't know why companies sell those supplements in the same pills, tablets.

Both is in the water. Works fine for me. Sleep better. And I am not tired anymore through the day. So it must work out. Otherwise we wouldn't put both in the water. And here in Germany we have the best water. 😊
