Hello, is there a way to make the answers display as fractions? For example, I want to create questions with adding random fractions but I want the answers to look like fractions.

For calculated multiple choice questions the only way to do this is to use the back slash /. However, if you use the multiple choice question in moodle you can make fractions if you are familiar with html when making the answers click on the html button and you can entire any fraction using the following code ¼ The example I gave makes the fraction 1/4. Just replace the 1 and 4 with whatever numbers you want.

How can you set all the options as not to display as 83+26 but as 109

Just use a regular multiple choice question rather than a calculated multiple choice question

Use the {= {variable1} + {variable2}}. You can also add text such as x > {= {variable1} + {variable2}}

@@cheriebrown6259 Thank you, this is what I needed! And FYI if you want units or labels on your answers, you can put them outside the brackets :).
