I used to work in a retail store that catered to military and law enforcement. For years we always stocked 5.11 gear then literally overnight we switched to Mission First tactical. My coworkers and I had never heard of MFT before and were astonished about the lack of quality in their products. Even their merchandise seemed to replicate 5.11. I feel like MFT tries to do too much all at once. They have pants, holsters, belly bands, backpacks and even socks! I just wasn't impressed with some of their asking prices for the poor materials. Some examples of what I'm talking about is no box or double stitching on their packs and pants. Their holsters feel extremely cheap and I question the reliability. I've spent a considerable amount of time cross examining against other similar products and I cant help but notice how inferior they are compared to more established companies. I was sadly disappointed and later realized I wasn't the only one who felt this way. Even my customers were reluctant to buy MFT solely on the fact that their prices don't reflect to the level of quality you'd get from better companies. The only upside to MFT is that they are designed and manufactured in the US. At first MFTs products felt like they were made in Vietnam or even China but that was one of the first things I checked. Untill i see something noteworthy or a substantial impact on the tactical community i cant support them. I dont see them sticking around for years to come and believe they will drown in the sea of tactical goods
