There are always big surprises in the NFL. EVERY year. Im starting to think the Chicago Bears are going to be THE surprise team. Caleb Williams after all is supposed to be the best qb prospect in a decade. His new team wasnt the worst team in the league. They were gifted the pick by a previous trade with a crappy team that bet wrong on the "top" qb. So the Bears dont just make the playoffs. They win their division. And they beat Philly in the NFC championship. And go to the super bowl. Not sure they win it, but Caleb Williams is the run away choice for O rookie of the year. This year's gonna be crazy. The Bears median needs to calm the fuck down. This is just rookie camp, let them learn the building, let them learn the peoples names on the team and at the facility. Stop expecting so much in the first week because they’re just getting acclimated to Chicago so please keep your mouth shut and don’t expect too many answersfrom questions that are kind of pointless right now since it’s only day two. Just ask them about moving to Chicago, how they’re doing, where are they moving to, restaurants, things to do in Chicago. We know where they are concerning football you don’t need to ask those questions because it’s the same thing every year.

As a Bears fan I really hope he becomes the greatest quarterback to ever play the game until we draft his replacement in 20 years. Just like how FGB somehow did it with McFraud, and Sir dopes a lot. But before we anoint him as football Jesus. Maybe we should let the kid play first. The kid still had some questions that need answering. Like his football security, or his ability to line up behind center. He has the tendency to play hero ball in situations where he misses the easy NFL play. Yes there are people that throw meaningless hate out there. But this childish attitude that if you raise legitimate concerns you’re a hater is just pathetic. Let the kid play first before we start comparing him to some of the greatest of all time.

Packers fan here, I can agree with all those things you said because Love got so much hate before he started against the Eagles in Week 10 or 13 I think it was in 2022, nobody knew that Love was gonna ball out like that to where he looked incredibly exciting to watch on film. Now he’s gotten so much attention the right way and not in a drama kinda way that Rodgers was! Love proved the league wrong big time and Packers fans have never been more satisfied in that draft selection we made in the 2020 draft. Yes it was foolish at the time, but GB gave him a ton of time to develop and learn! Ever since that, look at where he’s at! He’s a top 10 QB in the league. Caleb Williams on the other hand, got put into a situation that the Bears set up big time to where a rookie has never been set up for, so he’s got pure luck to succeed easily with those weapons. Is he going to have games that are bad? Absolutely! How many games did my QB have last year?? Like 7 or 8! Then shocked the league came thanksgiving day game last year! So Williams will have those days regardless but I believe he can overcome it and focus on what he’s gotta ofc do. Now with this being said. One of his biggest struggles will be dealing with the Green Bay Packers! I don’t say that just cuz I’m a Packers fan. I’m saying that because they set themselves up to be a very aggressive team attacking the football and QB! Hafley put us in a 4-3 attack style that teams like 49ers always run! He himself knows this from being with Saleh in San Francisco! He’s got 3 guys in the secondary that’s played against Caleb Williams! Evan Williams, Kita Olpado,, and Edgerrin Cooper when Williams was at Oklahoma at the time beating out Spencer Rattler. Those three have experience going against Caleb Williams! Especially the two from Oregon and Oregon State. It won’t be easy for him and the Lions will be another difficult team to face as well. The Packers will be his biggest test though without a doubt! One last little thing about QBs.. if you can take notes on how GB has developed 2 HOF QBs and have another HOF candidate, the Bears woulda kept Fields to give Williams time to learn. The Packers have had solid staff and there is 1 very solid staff that’s done the majority of the work on QBs, it’s Tom Clements! He is easily going to be in the Packers HOF coaching staff. He worked with Favre, Rodgers, and Love! So there’s a lot about the Packers that the Bears have just not yet learned about developing QBs. So I am eager to see what this kid will do. Till then Go Pack Go!

We are only seeing basic sideline deep balls. You can't throw those on a line at least too often. I was only an emergency QB in high school so I have a basic knowledge how different types of balls have to be thrown. If this was a seem route then you have to throw on a rope with velocity. On the throws shown here it's about timing in leading your receiver. Caleb was really accurate on most of these balls. It's also on receivers to adjust to the ball as well. Not every ball will be thrown perfectly by every QB. Understand that this is a timing drill
