Does someone know the make of the bed-shaper and planter used here? Would be interested for my farm in Germany.

Typically the strawberry listing equipment is made by local welders/fabricators, small businesses. To my knowledge there is no commercial manufacturer of strawberry listing equipment. Keep in mind, California has 3 main strawberry production regions Oxnard, Santa Maria, Salinas. Strawberry listing equipment differs from area to area due to the bed size used in each area.

This is strawberries America style. Tasteless plastic strawberries that taste of very little but look good in the shops. Go look at other commercial farms on KZitem where plants are grown for 2 or 3 years (year 2 is most productive and tastes better). Sure, this method of growing raises these 'things' cheaper, but what's the point? The US system of raising food stinks. It's your bellies and health so it's up to you, but now you're trying to tell our governments to take your adulterated crap. Poison yourselves if you want to but leave us out of it.

Obviously you have never picked fresh strawberries that are grown using plasticulture. Find a U-pick farm sometime.

This is not very friendly use of soil. All that old plastics that turn into pieces now will me mixed into soil. With years you can turn it into trash. But I think you only rent and care not.

Sergey Romanov wrong, nothing gets left behind. And that plastic can last very long of course they're bound to rip but worker will always come and fix them. Trash on the fields is unacceptable.

Please watch to the ned first. You can see when they take drip irrigation off, plastic is shredded into small pieces. You cannot possible take it out of the soil. And also I used t once too. And that is what it ends with for me too.

I mean it is bad for the soil but not because the plastic and he pulled it up anyway. They are depleting all the nutrients in the land,it takes years of wood chips and other decaying mater in wildlife to make rich soil. If they added a nice dose of organic material every year they would be good but its all about maximizing profits with doing as little work as possible and those machine seam nice but they are benefiting more than us and what kind of stuff are they spraying to keep them looking like that.people need to grow there own

This tractor compacts the soil which reduces oxygen in the soil and killing the soil biology which feeds nutrients to your plants. U of NM proved that soil biology has stronger correlation to crop yields than does fertilizer applications. I would rather see your compost system and your worm bins producing castings plus a slide showing soil biology. Sap analysis tells us what we need at each stage of a plant's development. Mixing nutrients and even pesticides in water that is not clean will reduce effectiveness up to 70%. Maybe we should break this big farm up into small family plots and send the illegal aliens home. Might I point out that the population of Mexico in 1950 was 28 million. Today there are 34 million Mexican Americans and 132 million people in Mexico. Solving the over population problems of Latin America, Africa, the Mideast and Asia is way beyond our ability.
