When I'm traveling or don't have studio access to hang my aerial straps I like to use these little mini-straps from @aerialessentials for training with. They give me the mobility for the rotation that mimics that of straps plus they keep the skin on my wrists conditioned so that I'm not overly sensitive if I take too much time away from straps. Straps require so much more strength than any other apparatus I've tried and I find I need to be especially consistent with my strength and conditioning if I want to progress and not lose ground in my training. So being able to use these straps for cross training has been priceless! For those of you that have grip issues when using a pull-up bar these are a great option to help you get more reps in without having to worry about losing your grip. I would encourage you to still work on your grip in some sets so you continue to build grip strength.
@aerialanimals also makes a little training set like these. I haven't tried theirs but I'm a big fan of their other rigging and equipment.
