Premiere Pro CC 2015 USERS: To do this in Pro 2015, make the arrow inner circle first as a new title, you want a white circle with another black circle inside so you get a thin wall line circle (may be possible to use the generate circle function separately as well. use the 'align horizontal center' and vertical center buttons to make the circles concentric. on close this title and drag into sequence. use scroll button to expand the actual title in the timeline, hold control and click two dots on the middle line, drag one dot to fade the circle in. Now make the second circle. fade it in the same way. align them so they are all concentric (i made them all on one title page first, align three of them concentrically, then duplicated two times, the one i deleted outer circle and other inner circle, but this is a lot of work just to make them perfectly concentric). Now make the arrow line (lead). draw the line, its two lines like shown here, now make a square mask, use the keyframes to make the mask have a horizontal movement, this will make the line appear as if its being drawn. make one side of the rectangle sloped, this will change the rate at which it appears to be drawn. OK now just add a green box title, do scale width , uncheck uniform, use key frames to make it go from 0 to 100%, this will have a similar affect to what's shown in this video, except instead of left to right it just expands outwards. do the same with the text and just fade the text in. fade everything out at the end. Now Nest everything, use bins because this is going to get messy if you want multiple call outs. NOW THE TRICKY PART: to duplicate this, make a copy of a title within the sequence by alt-dragging the titles (highlight the five titles) and drag them to the right, now instead of title 1, title 2, it will say title copy 1, title copy 2, delete the first ones as they are being referenced somewhere else. repeat this step to make more. I had no luck just using duplicate, because 2015 users are using Title blocks for EACH component, five times in my example then all five titles have to be duplicated. and the way i described will duplicate them inside of the nest AND KEEP ALL YOUR MOTION KEY FRAMES. Thanks!
@handsfreekvm
6 жыл бұрын
Edit: its a lot easier to make the circles concentric by changing the position under motion, just write down the values of each and make them all the same.

Nice Video. Learned a lot And am going to try it today. How do we make the call out follow an object live in the video frames? If it is a simple keyframe animation, it will just be dumb, however I want it to follow the plane if the plane is going in a spiral path. For that the callout has to tie itself to an object in the frame. How do we do that?

Is there a way to have the masks/objects track the text length, so that the title auto adjusts the background boxes width to the length of text? When you removed the model number, the extra box length was still hanging out there, which means you'd have to go and trim it, but is there any kind of automation possible? Great video by the way, thanks so much for sharing.

I'm pretty sure no, not in Premiere. So you'll have to manually tweak the keyframes and values depending on the length of text.

Thanks for an amazing tutorial. I have copied this more or less exactly and all works fine until I drag the nested sequence into my timeline. Then it changes the name to "Graphic" (i.e. in the media library it's callled "callout-left" and I can 'scrub' over the thumbnail to see the animation working), but when it hits the timeline it is suddenly renamed "Graphic" and it doesn't show up over the video. Anyone got a suggestion? (Could it be incompatible frame-rates or something?)
