Been listening this song for about 14 years now. Easily one of the top 10 songs of all time for me. Unbelivable sense of style, hope, melancholic beauty and message.

Here I am just after turning 36. I bought this album when I was 20 something. Time goes by and I'm still fascinated by the purity and dirt. I'm just a simple man with simple needs :)

Is it just me or does 3:49 until the end of the song give off an extremely space-ey vibe? I feel like those parts are a sort of soundtrack for travelling through the stars. And seriously, the strings mixed in with the beautiful guitar work and drums at 5:10 is possibly one of the most amazing things I've heard in music. It really inspired me to utilize strings and choirs in my own work.

The intro snare pattern just floors me each time. One of the most unique parts of a massively dynamic album. Overall, there's nothing crazy about the drumming, but it carries each song, adding the perfect amount of support. How many words can I use to say it's a masterpiece?

Anyone else hear a bit of Isis in this? I know it's probably bad to compare but Isis is also a great band and this is the first I'm hearing of Callisto, unfortunately.

For sure. Callisto, Cult of Luna, and Rosetta are definitely very Isis-influenced. Definitely check out Jakob as well for a slightly different flavor of posty-metal

Maybe Providence and a few tracks from Noir are reminiscent of Isis or Rosetta. But tracks like Folkslave and A Close Encounter really bring up something new, and quite interesting let me say.

Request: Rosetta - Temet Nosce. The best division would be at about 8:16, where the drums stop playing. This song was recently removed by the user, so I have no upload. And while I'm on Callisto...I still can't seem to like this band. Providence was highly disappointing, going along with the word - that it was a poor effort.
