I have a Browning Hi-Power, FN509 and a Sig P390. The loader somewhat works in the P390, almost none in the Browning and not at all in the FN. I contacted Fastmag and they pretty much blew me off saying the loader would have to break in. Well, it's hasn't. I have now contacted them 4 times regarding a refund on their 30 day money back guarantee and they will not respond. Do not waste your money with a product that doesn't work and with a company who doesn't stand behind their word.

It’s great that you did this video, however, I highly recommend improving the written instructions that come with the unit. That will undoubtedly save you time in customer service calls and emails. I was unable to get my Beretta PX4 mags to load. I called the customer service number and spoke with Sara. She was super polite and helpful. After adding a drop of gun oil to the ramp, the mags still would not load. I lightly sprayed dry gun lube on the mag follower and the cartridges jumped into the mag so fast, it almost scared me. Keeping in mind that this is a universal loader there are bound to be a few speed bumps with various magazines. I am very impressed. Really cool product.

I just received your product and at first is was really unhappy with the 9mm version. I oiled it as directed but the rounds still jammed in the throat every time. I was using brass rounds as well is the steel neither one worked easily. After truly getting frustrated with dropping rounds all over the place I left it alone for a while. When I came back to it, my brain had been working on the issue, so I put one round in by hand then loaded the balance in the loader. It worked exactly as advertised after that change, I guess there is something in my Mel-Gar mags follower that is jamming the loading process. The rifle loader worked perfectly straight out of the box, clean and easy. have the mags not in fit snugly is a little odd at first but it works well.

Just an FYI. The .45 ACP is available but the trough is only long enough to pick up 8 rounds at a time. For my 10 round magazines I just turn the box sideways and load 5 each time. Takes a little longer but still a lot better than loading by hand.

Very good tool, once I figured out that you can insert the magazine the wrong way up into the plastic receptacle end. Rounds don't feed too well that way. After some grunting and cussin' and oiling didn't get rounds in, I turned the mag over and--worked like a charm. It is a helpful tool, but I agree with commenters below who said better written instructions, and video as well, would enhance end-user experience. But overall, I'm glad I got it.

Ok, got my ETS C.A.M loaders in 9mm/40sw and 5.56, 7.62x39 Tried them both with brass , steal( didn't have aluminum) Used the recommended drops of oil. 5.56, 7.62x39 went pretty smooth, no real issues with steel or brass. Polymer mags were a little easier than metal But not bad. The 9mm/40sw.... it's taking some work. Not as easy as the 5.56, 7.62x39 and definitely not as easy as the video, but maybe there is some break in period? Not sure? I can get them to load, brass way easier than steel, but again if you are expecting just like the video you're going to bruise the hell out of your chest! Once you get it figured out, it starts to go a little smother..ish I do like them, I would recommend them. I also wanted to wait to review these till after I got to the range and see if these cause any feeding issues???? Very happy to report not one issue!!! And again steel or brass (didn't have aluminum) But no jams, feeding problems, and cycling great! Not a waste of your hard earned money! thank you ETS!

Nice video. I like the way the rounds you slid onto the "stick" slid so effortlessly with the "pusher" and two fingers. Wish my loader worked like shown in this video. My rounds won't go down the loading channel any further than 3/4's way down with my fingers. Then they start to get real tight. That is without the "pusher" attached. With the pusher I have to lean hard to get them to just meet the magazine. Then it becomes impossible to advance the rounds any further. I think there is a defect in my loading channel/rail. It takes almost all my strength to push the rounds through this loader. And that was WITHOUT a mag inserted. Has anyone else tried using it without a magazine inserted? That means the mag is not the problem. It's the rail. Maybe mine is defective and there is a problem with QC. Hope this gets fixed in a future iteration. P.S. I did read the other reviews and following their advice did not improve the operation of my loader.

All I want is a DEDICATED S&W M&P 1.0 or 2.0 FULL SIZE PISTOL MAGAZINE LOADER. Apparently, EVERYTHING is designed around: 1) Glock and 2) 9mm. Everything works fine with that combo. Run anything else, and you just have to "get it to work". But it's still a PITA, Mags get damaged & loaders wear out faster. At least they're cheap.

It won't work with any of the P365 series magazines. This includes the P365, P365 XL, P365 SAS or P365 RXZ. All the mags for these guns are about the same, differing only in their length and capacity. I'm pretty disappointed in my .45 loader, just received and tried for the first time, I not only put a drop of oil in each location, I ended up using my gun oil sprayer and applied light coverage in key friction locations and it's like wrestling a bear trying to get the ammo to load. It wants to jam about half way through. I may dry it off the best I can and then try dry lube like one of the other suggestions here but bottom line is it isn't working as advertised for me personally. Glad I only ordered one before ordering all 3 that I needed. I was really looking forward to getting this but very disappointed right now.

I still was unable to do my S&W mp 40 Compact....I finally said let me do I then 4, then add a few more till I was able to run a full 10....I noticed initially a little black flakes...if you feel the direction of the ramp...you might notice a small overhang....that is where hangups may occur. If it seems to hang up for the first three try less at first till it wears or breaks in. I use this and magula...sometimes speed counts, but having both is not a bad thing. Best way be prepared. Bought one. Tried it on Glock 22 15 round mag. Oiled the rail, the well and even a light coat on the mag itself. Never was able to get 10 at a time to work. Eventually tried one at a time to loosen it up. Then two at a time. Seemed better, but tying three jammed a round in the well each time. Also just doing one round when mag reached 11 rounds would also jam it in the well. Not satisfied at all. Maybe it is just me or bad luck, but your experience may be better. Thumbs down on this loader. Update: I even dipped it in Hoppes #9 oil ! Still jams....

TKS John Lovell (Warrior Poet Society KZitem channel) and your sales reps at 2018 NRA convention to convince me to buy the rifle and pistol loader. Now I am looking for .223 ammo block to hold the cartridges firmly and oriented up right like pistol cartridges to better slide the loader across the rounds. My first ammo block was designed with bullet up so turning it primer up the cartridge flops over. Not cool. Yes, very difficult to load with brand new unit. At first I could only get one round in magazine at a time even after oiling. Now I can get 4-5 at a time so expecting to get more after break in period. Rifle loader was very easy from the get go. UPDATE i received this reply from ETS in response to comments I sent them about the difficulty with using the 9mm/.40 cal loader; "Good morning, Doug. I'm sorry you are having difficulty with your loader and yes, the good news is the loader does get easier with use. It has a break-in period, just like magazines and guns. I've got some tips pasted below that may help you. Dabbing a touch of gun oil on the feed ramps of the loader will help allow the rounds slide smoother. Next, make sure your mag is fully inserted and centered (you'll barely be able to see the front of both feed lips when you look down the rail of the loader with no space). Make sure the mag stays seated properly as mags can sometimes be pushed out of position when compressing the plunger. A common issue that can cause binding is lifting the loader before flipping the rounds to face skywards. When you first lift the ammo from the tray, keep the loader level and rotate it so the rounds face the sky. Once they are facing up, pull the rounds down slowly until you feel the resistance of the top of the mag, then compress the plunger quickly to load the magazine. I've posted some pictures below for reference. If any of the rounds go into the feed ramp before flipping the loader, it's likely to cause a jam and make it very difficult to load..." Thanks for the extra coaching to get it right.

Doug Caldwell I took 2 plastic 9mm ammo trays that Blazer Brass ships with their ammo and drilled out the bottom of the 50 holes with a 3/8 inch drill bit. I put the drilled tray on top of the non-drilled tray and taped them together with electrical tape. It works perfectly to hold my 5.56/.223 cartridges with the primer up. The rounds slide easily onto the ETS loader rail.

It works but most 5.56 rounds aren't sold in plastic holders like the demonstration or the picture & you can't use it w/ stripper clips so you have to put rounds on the device individually. Maybe after "break in" it would be a little smoother I guess. To be honest the strip lula works better w/ out break in or oiling & can be used w/ or w/out stripper clips!

I kept having problems of misfeeding the rounds and nkt feeding them into the mag with mine and pushing the mag back out, when I first got it though it worked great maybe I busted something I don't know... I know the Uplula it's not as fast but it's just way more reliable, the ETS is the fastest no doubt....when it works at least...

Bought one at last wek's gun show. How can I tell if I have a gen 1 or gen 2 loader?

almost all available loaders should be the gen 2. but also depends on when the seller bought it

Oil or not it does not work with S&W M&P 9 2.0 17 or 15 round mags if you only put oil in the two places specified in the video. What it should say is oil the length of the slide where the bullets are racked. Not just where the bullets slide but also the sides where the push piece rides. Oil the push piece where it rides on the bullet slide. I didn't need any oil where the magazine locks in and found it easy to get the magazines to seat. I hope this thing and the mags loosen up with use. (They're all brand new). I did 2 seventeen round mags and 4 15 round mags and my chest is sore and red now, it will be a big bruise tomorrow. Next round of loads I'm going to wipe off all the oil and try dry silicone. Should work better. If not I'll try WD40. Bottom line is it works if you don't follow the instructions in the video or on the sheet. Oil the fuck out of everything.

Followed all these steps but mine still jams 9mm every time. Do not recommend.

I can't even pick up rounds out of the tray. Its WAY too tight, after it slides over three rounds. Then it binds and will not allow more rounds to slide into the tool. And then they do NOT load into the mags. I've pushed and pushed, made certain the mags are fully inserted, oiled it up, and nada. I was super disappointed.

love my ETS Cam loader as well. Only thing i dislike is that my range trips are shorter due to the time saved loading the mags, lol. Have about 300rds through mine so far. Still have some break-in time. last few rounds are a little bit tougher to load, but could also be user error.

No luck with Kimber single stack mag. I’ve tried every way I can and watched multiple times and can’t even get 1 to load.
