I just stumbled on your channel. I love it. It good to hear your perspective of joining US Army. Me too joined the US Army when I was 19 years old in 1986 - 1992, after five years arrived in US from Khao-I-Dang. To me, I'm glade I made that decision..

Nice to hear that you didn't give up. I think that's good approach to overcome our challenges, stepping away from the problem and attack it from different angle. Unfortunately I didn't step way when I struggled in college. Failed two classes then took some break by taking different classes and then retook them again. I'm glad that I didn't give up :)

Lol I laughed so hard when you said the sheds in America are used for storages but in Cambodia it could be use as a shelter. This comment is not supposed to laugh at the the less fortunate, but how you said it was funny.

I know what you mean. But it is true. Poor folk houses in Cambodia are worst than these sheds.

KhmerArmy I haven’t been to Cambodia, but I’ve seen footages and images. It is pretty devastating. I hope to be a help in Cambodia when I get my career started.

sok pagngna Aww thank you :). Yes it expired in 1988, but I can still use it to show that I was in the army before to get discount :). They just want to see the ID that I was in the army. It doesn’t have to be active. We call it ex military. :)

I joined the Army 15 years ago. I wish I had done it when I was a green card holder which is the fastest way to become a US Citizens.
