We push on north of Wooramel river and hit country recently being visited by rains. Although the country is still barren we come across some good patches of feed for the camels. The camels are starting to understand their job and it’s time to put them in the full string. We now enter the claypan country and find more water. This is extremely remote country and the camels prove their worth and traverse these stretches with ease, proving why they were so valuable in opening up inland Australia.
