does anyone else feel a strong sense of nostalgia for things that never happened, like this music, it makes me feel a sense of sadness to missing and longing, even though I have no logical reason to be?
@kristinadimovska9556
8 ай бұрын
This could be due to social influences that created structures of expectation in our brain. It is a sort of learnt emotional behavior. You are probably remembering movie scenes with this type of music in them in which something sad or nostalgic was presented, so you are subconsciously projecting the same feelings in a similar situation.

This is so movie score …sweeping, noble. Like King Arthur, who had a vision for “ right makes right, not might makes right. I have secretly lived the philosophy of the round table, and the Arthurian legend . It takes me to an ancient place, in myself, and takes down walls of time to sense a pre-existent state of being…Imbelieve I was there. It resonates deep within me. We’ll down to the old-soul composer.

This music's epic! It is at the same time "peacefully travelling through the lands of the kingdom on the back of your horse, with your fellow companions". Camelot-this ancient musical fantasy is just such a masterpiece . this is the 4-5 time I am mesmerised by the poignancy the pain the huge emotional conflicts... and the existential decision one is forced to make.. its like one just has to live thru hell with the promise of heaven that is jut beyond one desperate grasp...Never from my personal life experience has there been such deep romance that causes one to betray our friend and the guilt of that act just make any way out of it without the betrayal eating us from within.... the greater need for redemption n the hope of a nation on one's shoulder weary shoulder requires one has to die to one's own needs to bury one's life n life-purpose to the memory of what is right as human being and the collective and the legacy that leaves for future generations..... this brings to tears as in the end its comes down to the sacrifice of a person, and individual to the collective so that future generation may find value n hope to carry on,.......

If we don't live for an ideal greater than our mere humanity we always sink into depravity... for we are but flawed mortals made of earth and clay in need of Salvation, forgiveness and restoration to the perfect and good pure heart of God. Even if society may not believe in God as a whole, it is the spiritual fabric that holds evil in check.... I feel the transcendence of God in much of this music and it helps to restore a sense of balance in this chaotic world that seems to be sinking into a quagmire of corruption and seeking greater evils than the day before.

In the heart of the forest, under skies so wide, There stands a table, round with pride. No head, no foot, no one above, Just knights in honor, truth, and love. With swords laid down, we gather here, To stand as one, without fear. All colors blend in harmony, A circle strong, a world set free. Round and round, we stand as one, Together under the rising sun. All hearts, all hands, all souls unite, In the circle of peace, we find the light. No walls between, no lines to divide, We rise in love, side by side. Every color, every voice, In the circle of unity, we all rejoice. Divine eagle, lady, oh lady of the dawn, your beauty is the grace in the strings, let us weave the carpet and prepare the temple for the king, let us build paradise on earth. Sister, beloved, our beautifull teacher lead us to be calm wise and full of laughter, grant us to see your grace. let your beauty and your magic be the light of the moon and the sun in our face. Wizard and witch toogether combine them and find the golden way all elements united will truly have the might to bring the new day. In honor we will work to build the temple of the dawn, let us create our future today, could be paradise or hell. If you need us in the darkest hour, we will take a new form, nymphs and knights, witches and witchers shall rise. To stand as one, without fear. All colors blend in harmony, We serve the free

The music would make a great soundtrack for a film set in the Age of Arthur. If only Hollywood would get off the worn out Guinevere/Lacelot trope and use the much older Celtic legends which are closer to the truth & which abond abot that period.
@FantasyMeditations

I agree! I think mining the older Celtic legends is a great idea. Unfortunately, Hollywood sticks with what's safe, and everybody knows the Guinevere/Lacelot trope. So it's easier to understand.
