Your comment is misleading - In the UK children between 10 and 17 can be arrested and taken to court if they commit a crime. They are treated differently from adults and are: dealt with by youth courts and given different sentences. The Uk recognises that children are not adults and have different mental abilities and maturity levels wheras the USA..and Iran dont. Strangely the promotion of violence is much higher in the USA, 2 guns in the childs house is the norm. Stabbing someone 46 times is pretty much the same as stabbing someone 1 time.

Watching trash on tv, hang out with bad kids, and play damn video games, won't let the fathers who want to be in their life guide them, they won't hold them accountable for anything. They act as if their kids are so special. And, the system don't want you to raise your kids the way God wants us to. So, the devil takes over. When we were growing up, we got punished and whippings. Never even thought about killing someone because we were raised with morals and respect. They act like their kids can do no wrong, even when they are wrong, mainly the mothers. None of us know if she was a horribly abusive mother, also. Kid could have snapped. Kid could have been put up to it by his gamer online "friend" that he didn't even know the real name of. Kid could have just felt like killing his mom because he's a sociopath. Kid could have other mental problems. Could have killed her for fun/adrenaline just 'because he could'. All we do know is a 13 yo child horrifically and brutally stole his mom's life from her. Technology isn't the issue. The kid seems to be a sociopath. The rise of technology, is not the cause of that. For instance, I grew up with technology, however, I've never committed a crime. I understand there are things/people online that can be bad for children, however, it is the parents job to control what said child has access to. The amount of security measures parents can take to control what their children see or experience online, leaves little excuse for them not to make restrictions on their children's devices. What's more, it is also important to teach your child about the dangers of the internet before later loosening those restrictions.

I always wanted to know, if you don't mind my asking. Sometimes when I hear 911 calls on yt, the operators sound unsymapthetic when it's the victim calling, some are even very rude. Is this a part of your training? I know everyone is different, but, are you guys trained to never show emotion or express comfort?
@bw4593
2 ай бұрын
@@nutmeg8399 sometimes it’s being overworked, sometimes it’s the assumption you’re not hearing the truth. When you first start you take every call seriously and think people are telling you what really happened, but sadly most of the outrageous calls like “I’m being held hostage” turn out to be mental health calls with people in crisis or having delusions. With domestic violence calls you get one side of the story and it always sounds like the person you’re talking to is the victim, then you follow up on the officers notes and found out he/she started it and only called after the other party defended themselves. It isn’t right but it wears on you. You are definitely trained to try to objectively get the important details, cut people off when they are not answering the critical questions, and to sometimes use a stern voice to gain control of the call. It may seem rude, but we need certain pieces of info before you go rambling off a bunch of things that are important to you. Where you Where are they? If they’re there with you can you separate/flee if they’re gone how did they leave Were any weapons involved where is the weapon now? Where are the weapons now? Is anyone injured If yes is the injured party breathing? What direction did they leave in? What does the suspect look like/what are they wearing? Do you know the suspect? What is their name? Were they with anyone or alone? We sometimes have to sound short and rude to get all this critical information to keep you, and the first responders safe. Sometimes we can lose our patience, but it is only because it is important to get this critical information. Not hurting feelings is less important than saving lives. The good call takers balance this with understanding some people are going to give more and better information with a soft and understanding touch, but sometimes we’re on the phone with a caller, dispatching the officers, responding to other agencies asking if we need assistance, taking to our partners in the room to coordinate resources etc and there simply isn’t time to coddle.
@meghanm5000

This is definitely one of the calls that she’s never going to forget
@bw4593

@@nutmeg8399 not sure what happened but I left a long detailed answer and it either got deleted or disappeared. Long story condensed there are a lot of very critical questions we need answers to, and sometimes it means we end up sounding rude or short, but it is really important for citizen and responder safety we get those answers, even if it means hurting feelings sometimes. It also can be an issue with work overload, where I may be in the phone with a caller, dispatching the officers and answering their questions, working with partners to get resources, speaking to outside counties to request things like K9 or flight. We also got a lot of calls that sounded outrageous. When you first start you hear “I’ve been kidnapped and I’m being held hostage” and your heart races. You are super concerned and do your best to clam them while getting them help. Officers arrive and find them in a group home or mental health facility and they are just having a mental health crisis. By the 20th time you start to realize it is less likely the outrageous calls are real and more likely they are someone having a delusion or mental health crisis. It isn’t intentional, and you still do your best to take every call seriously, but that is part of being short and getting the critical facts so they can be relayed to the first responders. The good call takers do adjust when ever possible. Some people need a firm hand or they will ramble on endlessly giving information that isn’t helpful, and others need a caring voice to tell you what is really happening. You have to find a balance, but when sht hits the fan sometimes it is more important to be efficient and cold to save lives.

There are a lot more murderers that would not have turned themselves in, not have called 911, and not have spared the infant. It is what it is, but he's going where the worst murderers are. Just shows what being online playing video games all day does. It does nothing but harm these young people. That likely was a factor with all these violent video games people play. He still didn't have the guts to kill himself. Some murderers would claim they are innocent and be out of jail and let the blame be on someone innocent.

To be stabbed 46 times by your own child... its heart breaking. I wonder if he was jealous over the attention/love the mother was giving the new baby.
@nonni139

I think maybe he doesn't like big changes in his life and was angry with his mother. He had been an only child for 13 years and now he has to share the attention with a new child. And with someone else's child. In Sweden, a young guy killed his two half-siblings and stepfather because he was jealous. He was also autistic.

@@davidboast9165or he is part of an abusive family that pits her as a s scape goat. It's sometimes normal for the women in the family to be seen as the problem or cause of the male aggressive and lack of self control or human emotions in dysfunctional families. Maybe you grew up in a house like that or you are one of those males that blame the women in your family for your own actions. The guy killed his own mother in cold blood while she was asleep. This is like a biblical story of a cursed family or something that God has laid judgment on. It is not surprising that a family that produces a male like him would then defend him or even blame the mother for own death, as you are doing.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t puto the masculine version of puta? If so, I find it interesting that he would use the incorrect version; isn’t puta more commonly used/known than puto? I’ve heard/known the word puta since my teens (I’m now almost 50), but only heard the word puto, for the first time, within the last 2 or 3 years (I’m in Canada, so a significantly smaller Spanish community than in US, and definitely not a common spoken language within the community, in comparison to other languages).
