The Cameron Highlands is a district in Pahang, Malaysia, occupying an area of 712.18 square kilometres. To the north, its boundary touches that of Kelantan; to the west, it shares part of its border with Perak. Situated at the northwestern tip of Pahang, the "Camerons" is approximately 90 kilometres from Ipoh, roughly 200 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur or about 355 kilometres from Kuantan, the capital of Pahang. It is the smallest municipality in the state.
The Cameron Highlands were named after William Cameron, a British explorer and geologist who was commissioned by the then colonial government to map out the Pahang-Perak border area in 1885.
With so many strawberry farms to choose from, it can be tricky to select the best strawberry farm in Cameron Highlands 2021!
At these farms, you can have a go at harvesting strawberries! An activity that most city kids will enjoy! And afterwards, you can sit down and have a yummy strawberry treat like strawberry ice cream!
In Malaysia, strawberries are basically synonymous with places to visit in Cameron Highlands.
You’ll find a strawberry farm at almost every turn closer to Tringkap, Brinchang, Tanah Rata or Ringlet.
They aren’t all the same so it’s good to plan ahead and choose one (and a back-up) so you don’t end up with disappointment!
During peak seasons (e.g. school holidays), the more accessible strawberry farms will have less strawberries left to pick!
