Cycling the world - Europe: episode 91 - Camino de Santiago by bike
I made it to Santiago de Compostela the end point of the Camino, right? Well no, actually metre zero is in Fisterra or Finisterre (Land's End) and that's where I headed after the usual picture at the cathedral.
My two cents on the Camino: if you intend to cycle it, meh, there are better routes and trails in Spain. There are some really nice, fun and enjoyable sections as well as beautiful sceneries but again not sure it's worth the hype. On the other hand if you want to do a little adventure with lots of services along the way, you're not willing to camp and want to shower everyday as well as being able to meet lots of people for socialising during day and night then the Camino is perfect.
