Can you use the Pursit or Crocket without the legs? So, if I want to put it on a tailgate or concrete picnic table?
@josephlejeune1967

I got this grill about 3 weeks ago and like it so far. I only have 2 complaints. 1 the hopper bottom isn't "V" shaped so when you get low on pellets you need to keep knocking them down from the sides. 2 the vents in the back are to close to the cooking surface. When cooking burgers, grease will spatter on the back wall then run out of the vents on the outside of the grill.

I just wrapped up my first cook about 20min ago. Made some chicken wings and they turned out great. I can definitely see what you’re talking about though.

I enjoyed this and am considering purchasing such. How about a quick note on powering this grill. Did you use an extension chord, battery, or some type of magic :)?
@AndersonsSmokeShow
Жыл бұрын
Well I've used it in about every configuration. I travel with this grill and have a portable power unit, which allows me to cook pretty much anywhere! I also use this at home off an outdoor outlet or extension cord. Its a nice little grill for someone who cant have something big or for someone looking for a portable pellet grill.

The pursuit is cool as hell! If you are referring to the smoke in the earlier parts of the video that was during the startup and there was abundance of pellets due to filming the feed mode. I haven’t got a chance to cook on it yet, but that is coming soon!

Very thorough review bro! Ive been eyeing the pursuit I love my woodwind 36. I was wondering does the Pursuit have a knob to pull out and drop all the unused pellets like the Woodwind? I like to remove my pellets when Im done smoking and store them in an air tight container as recommended.

@@AndersonsSmokeShow that would be cool. I really want to get into smoking. Am looking for a good smoker at a decent price. Also something that will withstand the elements because i don't really have a good place to store it and I live.in the north east so in the cold months I would like to use it. They claim to be most or all stainless steel and double wall so that would help with the colder months.

We may look like brothers, but my cameraman is my cousin as well as my neighbor. He films with us on Hunt Fish Shoot but he runs the cameras with me. He has made a few B-roll appearances though (which is more than me hahah). The other 2 guys on the channel (Mike and Joe) are brothers and two of my best friends. Mike does the gun reviews, Joe does the majority of the hunting content, and we all contribute to fishing.
