A little tip I fitted a chopping board to my tail gate I have a tub liner the one I fitter is a industrial size plastic about 8mm thick heat proof covers half the gate, when you drop the gate you have an instant flat work space, perfect to sit a camping stove for the cuppa stop, Cheers.

Ice and beer, a match made in heaven. Although my little 40 lt keeps the tinnies very chilled. There is no reason at all why you can't eat as well out under the stars as you do at home. Love my camp ovens.

I really like the idea of vacuum sealing (+ also sous vide, for that matter), but there's just so much plastic waste involved. :-/ We try to get by with our reuseable ziplock bags (which just go through the dishwasher; they're more secure than disposable 1s, too), & out stretch-to-cling silicone container covers. I also love my lidded Pyrex containers, but they _do_ cost space in the esky.
