love these videos of Gilligs, I can tell this bus is after 1976 because of the high seat backs that schools didn't like (made it more difficult to see what kids were doing), driver I wish you had been my bus driver 🥰

that crown there is what i call a proper crown. i prefer the dual rear axle or tag axle crowns. sadly the school district where i used to live didnt have any crowns but the next school district over did. they had these buses from the time they were new till the early 2000's when they became field trip and sporting event buses only and also were used as backup buses for when regular route buses were out for maintenance. oh how i miss those buses. i also wish i could have ever rode one but alas never got to sadly. long live that tandem axle crown.
