That's me at 6:52 shouting "All Blacks" just after the haka! Arrived in NZ at 8am that morning from Seoul, Korea and flew back at 9.45am the next morning, only in the country for 26 hours. My brother scored tickets five days before the game so I made a spur of the moment trip home. Went 48 hours without sleep and barely noticed it. Unbelievable experience! That BLACKWASH sign was ours. We took a sign with the same thing written on it to the first RWC final in 1987. Best 24 hours of my life!

Thank you Liam Brooky. France manipulated their way into the final - they took it to the AB's and maybe they should have won that game, but they didn't deserve to win the Rugby World Cup. The All Blacks won it on the back of rugged defence and determination. As the French say "C'est la vie". All you haters, as we Kiwis say "go cry me a river mate..."

Funny how 2011 Rugby World Cup Final was refereed by a South African and All Blacks won by just 1 point, and then in 2015 Rugby World Cup Semi Final they did the exact same thing and beat South Africa the hard way and that game was refereed by French Referee and All Blacks just won by 2 points that time.

Thirty minutes after the final whistle, and NOBODY has left the stadium, and they're still cheering. Of course, it's Rugby, it's not a soccer crowd. AND - New Zealand is a small country. It's like a village of 3 million people - this is one large family celebrating.

The postmortem will continue for the next 3years but the bottom line is that the All Blacks WON! The French played their best game of the whole tournament, but alas, it fell short. They retire to the 6-Nations to help improve the 'way to play' in that hemisphere! I take the friendly-piss out of the Aussies and Boks allatime, but they ARE our most formidable foes in the Heavenly Game, for we know each other so well. The 'challenge' now is which of us 3nations - will be first to 3-peat!

One thing I always think would have made more sense was the music that played when the whistle blew. In my opinion the perfect song would have been "Poi E" we had the whole entire nation come together to celebrate such a monumental moment and the track that played no knock to Hayley westernrie but it just didn't fit. Poi E would have been perfect or even slice of heaven from Dave dobbyne

Outplayed by a team that was destroyed by the champions in pool play, and couldn't even get past Tonga. France didn't deserve to be in the final, and they played well out of their skins to compete with NZ. Did you watch the Semi between NZ and Aus? That was the final right there. No team would have stood up to NZ. France deserved the win on the day but not the title. The title goes to NZ and deservedly so. Anybody disagreeing must have ignored every NZ match leading up to the final.
