This was my very first solo camping and hiking trip back in November 2019 in Tasmania. I walked from Wineglass Bay carpark to Cooks Beach via the Isthmus Track. And the next day back via the Hazards Beach Track. I had planned to walk the whole circuit but unfortunately had problems with my achilles tendon and had to turn back.
It was a bit scary to do, especially since I'm scared of snakes and spiders lol. But it went all well and the views at the beach at sunset were rewarding.
I got a little scare though. When I went to bed I heard noises of an animal coming close to my tent. Suddenly I heard something sneaking through the front of my tent and I took my headtorch and saw that it was either a pademelon or a wombat! It looked cute though so I was a bit relieved it wasn't something dangerous lol!
Filmed with a Sony a6500, a Sigma 19mm f2.8 and 30mm f2.8.
(Bonus footage at the end was close to Port Arthur)
