Ooh free beer is the best kind! Pete liked the look of that strong beer 🍺. I'm like you Sue, i prefer my wine, but i can be tempted by a beer in the sunshine, especially if it was free 😂. Ah we loved the laid back vibe of the campsite, very bohemian! 🖖. Wow, the cathedral was stunning, we felt dizzy just looking at it! Some great detail in this episode too guys, for anyone that is planning to visit themselves by motor home👍. A wild swim next! Looks perfect! What an adventure guys, looking forward to the next episode. All the best, Shell and Pete 😊👊👍

Oh that beer was brilliant. Loved it. We kept going back for more 😃. Bohemian is a great word for that place - describes it perfectly. Absolutely laid back - the UK campsite scene could learn from them for sure. We loved it so much - we went back two weeks later on the way back 😃. And got more free beer 👍🍻 We loved Ulm too - vibrant city and we managed to end up talking football to a lad in the O2 shop as he was interested in where we came from. 😃. We really did have an amazing time and can’t wait to do it all again in 2025!! Hope you guys are having a good week. Weekend incoming!!

Awesome adventures. Sucks being stuck in traffic though. Looked like the tree RV park had some long time residents there by the way they had built over their camper trailers. Interesting to see the coin operated charging stations. The reflective pond and the cathedral were absolutely beautiful. Looks like you drank to that with a couple could be. Well done on your travels. Have a great day.

Hi Dave & Sue! I would love to visit the Black Forest area someday. It was great to see the area. Great point about the cyclists, they really do go fast and the e-bikes make it too easy to go even faster. I dislike being startled by cyclists when I'm walking so I make a practice to slow down when passing people (as well as ringing my bell), and even more so if there are dogs or children around. The cathedral was beautiful!

Hi Donna. Yes the Black Forest is wonderful. We loved it so much that we came back and stayed for longer on the way back!! Yep those cyclists were crazy. We saw two near head on crashes in a few hundred yards so we were very careful on the way back. Will catch up with vids when we get back home Hope you guys are doing well.

Guys you're living the dream and getting free beers too ! Shame about the storms but like Sue said, that's the way it goes. Love the architecture as you walked around, the buildings are so pretty. The place that you camped was great and soo laid back. Glad you sorted your data sim out, sounded really bad. That Minster church / cathedral was stunning and so tall, I can see why its the tallest in the world, so beautiful. Sounds great there with all the little bars and cafes along the waterfront . Great to watch, keep enjoying 😃👍~ Anna

Ah thanks Anna. It really has been an amazing trip. We’ve loved every minute and learned a heck of a lot!! Coming to the end now, our last day today. 😨 Ulm is a very beautiful city and the Cathedral is incredible. We’ve seen some wonderful churches along the way, Amiens was incredible and also some beautiful little churches in Germany and Austria. And the Black Forest campsite was the most free and easy we’ve visited yet! All in all, we won’t forget this trip or the people we’ve met. Sad to be going home!!

Hi DeAnna and Bill. Hope you guys are doing ok. 👍 Yes we’ve had an absolute blast in Europe. Back home now and planning the next one in January. We loved the Black Forest and also Bavaria. Although we had a couple of issues in Austria, it was still a brilliant trip. Having over a month in the van has been absolutely wonderful and we can’t wait to do it all again! Miss your vids but hope you’re doing well

🤣🤣🤣. We will try mate. Bavaria and Austria were spectacular. We were just total novices on German. But most people spoke amazing English so we sort of got away with it. Ulm was amazing - really beautiful and managed to get a SIM card that worked too 👍👍. Hope you’re doing well mate. Will catch up on vids when back after tomorrow 👍👍

Cheers David. Yep, it’s just so easy to travel around in Europe in a motorhome. We’ve changed our plans a few times and been fine. Currently on a lovely little site in Northern France which we booked in the morning! The UK is so poor in comparison with much less choice and a very different attitude it seems. The data sim we bought in Ulm has been brilliant, we will certainly resolve that in January when we’re off to Spain. Our last day today, we will never forget this trip - the places we’ve visited and the wonderful people that we’ve met. Just don’t want it to end!!

🤣🤣🤣. We left those off this time mate. Oh those machines confused the heck out of me. On one stellplatz I paid for someone else’s electricity and ours ran out in the middle of the night 🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ End of the trip this morning Bruce. We’ve had a blast and mainland Europe is just so much more advanced in many ways than the UK. Especially when it comes to motorhomes and campers!! Hope you’re having a good week Bruce and that Otis is behaving himself. Catch up when home. 👍👍

We can sort that tomorrow Oh ok, where is our pitch? Anywhere you like. Can we have EHU Yep all the pitches have water and EHU Should we pitch up facing forward? Anyway you like Could we stay an extra night? Of course. Do you need a deposit No don’t worry about it. Do you like beer? Yes we do What sort? Etc etc 😃😃 They were brilliant mate. Everyone got free beers on arrival from the brewery down the road. We went back again last week on the way home 😃😃 The data charges from Vodafone were crazy!!!! £3.35 per mb. So managing to buy that Sim was brilliant. O2 were so helpful!!
