Love your channel and your adventures. Considering Lake Mead is a recreation area, it still falls under the National Park Service. How has the filming restrictions on KZitemrs and Tiktok users affected you as a creator, and does this mean you will stop filming in the Lake Mead area?
@Kadenventures
Жыл бұрын
I'm actaully not monetized by KZitem so it doesnt really impact me. I'll continue making videos in these places if people want to see them! However, I was talking to someone recently who said KZitemrs shouldnt be impacted for filming in National parks, that no filming rule was overturned in court after that whole Kara/Nate filming issue in NPs. I'm sure some bigger creators will still shy away from it but my channel is a small fish in the sea so i'm not concerned lol Thanks for watching and glad you enjoy the channel!

Yeah those coyotes get really ballsy out at the lake. My trip to boxcar a couple weeks ago, my buddy and I had to chase them away from our camp before we went to bed. They were really close to us while we sat around our fire.

I dig the ASMR aspect to your vids. My wife can't stand the chewing but I get a kick out of her having a meltdown because of it. Coyotes out here are the ballsiest I've ever seen. Thought I was going to have to pop one out at Stewarts Point last year.

lol! My wife hates ASMR as well. That was the closest I've ever seen Coyotes come to a camp, their dog was just wandering around too and almost tried walking up to it. They r still pretty skittish for the most part, when you walk up to them or make noises they run away lol

Cool vid bro. So here’s a question. Where do u put all the food and leftovers over night? U got a bear bin? I’m just wondering because when we tent camp we always got a bear bin in our campground and I’m very particular about having nothing at all that smells or food in the tent. If u store it in your truck overnight are u not worried bout animals clawing at ur door?
@Kadenventures
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! And no i dont have a bear bin and I dont really worry about food smells at least camping in these desert areas, bears arent an issue here luckily lol! I've only had 2 critters walk up to the truck, one was a fox and the other was (what i think) was a badger, they scared away easily tho. When we'd deal with bears in Alaska, most campgrounds did have bear food storage areas but if that wasnt an option, we'd usually leave the food locked up in the car or at least within a cooler. We'd usually be camping with a ton of people in Alaska so bears (usually) arent ballsy enough to walk up on humans especially if they know humans are in the area (why I always would make noise and make our presence known when camping remote) if bears know your there they usually stay away (playing music, etc). If a bear does walk up on camp, make a ton of noise (grab some rocks and bang them together) makes it sound like a gunshot and they usually leave quick

I do enjoy these videos, and I am a subscriber. I must say, the formula is starting to get tiresome. It just seems to be the same script for every video the introduction synopsis of what we’re going to see, the generic shot of the grocery store, the sound of the beep as you check out and say thank you to the clerk, The drive, the set up the cracking open the beer, the meal prep, the nighttime movie scene, the morning coffee, break down of camp, after the next adventure, there used to be tips and tricks descriptions of new products your thoughts on the campground information about products how you’re liking to go fast camper it’s just the same old script. It’s like watching a rerun for every movie nowadays I wish you would change it back up and have that formula you used to use.

Thanks for the feedback Michael! For solo trips like this I do tend to stick to a formula but I’m always researching and looking up different places we can travel to/camp to switch things up for different videos. There won’t always be new gear to review or try out (something I do enjoy doing for you guys) or new camping tips/tricks that I haven’t already said in previous videos so I’ll keep that in mind moving forward to keep things fresh and new, thanks for watching and the feedback 🤙🏽
