We traveled for 24 days. Camped at 16 campsites. From Tulbagh we traveled through the Wild Coast up to Lesotho and made our way back home through the Karoo. As we embark on our journey as Mr & Mrs in this episode, we travel from our wedding venue to Ebb and Flow Campsite and celebrated our first day of honeymoon and 15 years of being together. From here we went to Cannon Rocks Campsite to Morgan’s Bay Double Mouth Campsite - a beautiful spot.
The weather wasn’t playing in our favour most of the time, so be prepared for many driving clips and rainy weather views. We still had a wonderful time and would recommend this trip to all.
From Morgan’s Bay, we traveled to Trennerys Hotel’s Campsite. Because of all the heavy rainfall, the ferry was flooded. What should have been a quick 30min trip to the campsite, took us 166km around over 3 hours to complete. We stayed at Trennerys in Qoloha for two nights. The campsite was lovely, and I highly recommend a stop here.
In our second episode, we will be traveling to Dwesa Nature Reserve and Coffee Bay.
