I had a V-6 Camry like yours. Felt quick, but never thought it’d hang with a 5.0 for as long as you did. Now I'm at 142k miles and it has this little chirp when on especially on idle, on startup and when turning off it makes a grinding noise. No loss of power or hard shifting but ik it is showing its time to die sooner or later. Burns oil faster now so I put 10w30 now instead of the 5w30. interesting to see how these simple mods with intakes and exhaust can actually enhance more power to lower engines and make them faster than bigger engines cars, v4’s are the way to go next thing i’m thinking of coping is a civic si 2015 specific model would love to have a stuck shift and a honda
@Piercemxpx

In my personal opinion from working on cars for a while, adding bolt on mods (intake or exhaust) is going to add very little to horsepower, & in some cases it can harm power. The way to unlock the bolt on potential is to get a tune. The stock ecu doesn’t know you added an aftermarket intake or exhaust, so the computer still runs the car like it’s stock. Once again in my opinion, bolt ons are pointless unless someone plans to get a tune for them. (Not saying this Camry isn’t tuned, I honestly have no clue)

Are we sure this isn't a 2010 4.6 badged as a 5.0...that would be FAR more believable than a 5.0. The 5.0 has considerably more hp than this gen V6 camry and they weigh nearly the same. If that IS a 5.0, it's running like shit and also needs a driver mod. The cobalt weighs significantly less so this makes sense being fairly even at those numbers. A camry being about the same weight as a 5.0, would be putting down hardly 240-250whp, if that. There's no way an essentially stock auto v6 camry is staying with a 5.0 with exhaust while roll racing. Not only should the mustang easily put busses on it, the mustang would pull significantly more at the top end with tq being solid to nearly redline. This definitely looks like 3v performance.

As expected, the Mustang smokes the V6. Lil Camry hung in there for a while though, love these cars. Great daily drivers and enough power to keep the commute to work interesting.
