On your easy hitch I see your running the Hitch adaptor from the top link down.So JD quick hitch with different implements is not compatible either, compared to the Harbor Freight model.Six of one and a 1/2 dozen of the other either one you still have to buy different set ups for both.

Land pride sells the top link for that mower to make it quick hitch compatible. The ones in the video I made myself. It will work with any quick hitch as long as you have those links and the pins don't get in the way.

Old video, but I think if you had hills, this would not work out so well. On flat, well kept (as in not overgrown), 25HP tractor can do it... The weight would be a concern, but you seem to be doing great! I have to buy a Rear Mount Mower for the 2025R... Will keep this in mind that a 72" can work. Man, that would be great. Large property (well, for me!). 6 acres, maybe 3-4 is grass.

The mower does a nice job but the 1025r makes it rough ride.

So the FDR1672 weighs 614 pounds I looked it up.So you say it picks it up but not all the way? So is it the offset of the weight that impairs the lift. From full capacity of 681 pounds. Interesting running a mower that requires 40 hp on a small unit.If worse came to worse if the Boomer was in the shop you know now it will work.

Yep your correct it is the offset and how far back it sites as to why it will not lift it all the way. The 40 HP is the maximum pto HP that the mower gearbox is rate for and the minimum is 15 to run it and according the the landpride rep I talked to it would run just fine on a Kubota B2601 which is the same as a 2025r, the only reason being the weight of the unit as to the reason they don't recommend it for a BX2380/BX2680. I wouldn't recommend the 72" for a 1025R, but I think it would be fine with the 2025r with the understanding in heavy grass would require a slower speed.

Why not don’t they have 72 inch belly mower for it
@justdoingmyownthing.2504
5 жыл бұрын
I think the reason they don't have a 72"mmm is that 18 pto HP isn't enough to cut 6 feet of grass and then force all those grass clippings to one side of the mower to be discharged. This mower is a rear discharge so as soon as it cuts the grass it is ejected out the back of the mower and thus can run with less HP.

Then why did they offer me 72 when I purchased my 1025 r it’s only a finish mower
@justdoingmyownthing.2504

@@jasongray6145 There isn't a 72" belly mower for the 1025r only a 54" and 60". The 2032r is the first model that offers a 72".

@@justdoingmyownthing.2504 usually not more than 3mph. That way it gives you time to react. If you're bouncing, you're too fast.
