Saudades. Parabéns pela postagem. Me trouxe grande alegria do tempo passado.

Hi, Excellent restoration. What’s the liquid used to soften the leather ? I have an old leather radio cover which is quite stiff with age. Thank you
@Ego.Reficio

@Toms3200 Thank you! The first product I used with the brush is meant to clean the leather and also hydrate it; if I remember correctly, it’s also used for horse saddles. If you’re referring to the part where I immerse the pieces directly in the watery solution, that’s hot water and vinyl glue. I used that solution to soften the underlying cardboard and glue the various layers together. Then, at the end, I used a polish to restore the color where it had faded. Let me know if you need the name of any of these products

The radio works, I preferred to put a background music to create the atmosphere of the final scene, otherwise what would I have made you listen, a normal radio frequency? For the engine of the bike, as I said in the various comments, there will be another video where I restore the bike, the tank and the crown and where I will mount and test the engine. I didn’t do it in the first video because it already came out very long

@@Ego.Reficio As a designer and constructor of electronic devices, I always look forward to launching a project. This is the most interesting moment. This is often when I realize what my work is worth. This reveals my lack of knowledge and skills. I also worked at a repair service. It's almost the same as renovating old equipment. Then the final launch of the device gave the greatest satisfaction. I don't understand why you don't show the results of your work. Besides, I am sensitive to fakes on the Internet, there are many pseudo-specialists. Especially in my field, electronics. I believe that your videos are real and that you fix these things to make them work and continue to serve you, not to gain subscribers. I also admire you for your determination in renovating this radio, a lot of work. I wouldn't find the motivation to touch the radio in such a condition.

@dawidkowal4582 What do you mean, "I don’t understand why you don’t show your work"? Thank you for the compliments. I'm not a true electronics specialist; it's just a passion of mine, along with mechanics. The radio was in terrible condition, but what drove me to restore it was the vision I had in mind, imagining how it could be once restored
