Well said! The mere thought of using an Ai can replace a Motion Designer is almost impossible (for now). Motion design is a tedious job, like reallyyyy tedious. But that's the beauty of it :D! And also, making a stable Ai-generated video would require a stable results of multiple frames. But for now AI is really just random in a weird way.

Agreed! Ai-generated video as it currently stands are just creepy 😄 But even if in the future they'll produce great results, motion designer are still needed. You need the knowledge, and you still need to make very creative decisions, even when using Ai. If AI will be widespread, it would change how we animate, how we design, but animators, designers etc. would still be needed in my opinion.

I like to compare AI with aescripts site. Even though they are technically two different things, however both of them help to speed up your workflow. There are bunch of plugins and templates in order to make your project more unique. But, motion designers are still around, some template site hasn't eliminated the need for a skilled animators.

Artists thought their work would be worthless because of the AI revolution, when in actuality, it's the other way around. Human-made art made with talent, hard work and emotion will skyrocket in popularity, now that AI is present.

My bet is that it won't 😊 If we look at what has happened in the past, then maybe it would change the way we work and animate, but it won't replace motion designers in my opinion 😊

Your seeing what A.I can't do, from what you can do, what about what it can do for those that will never be able to do what you are capable of? more people will be able to do the basics, more people who have creative ideas, but cannot do what you can do, but they'll create a project that's theirs, and there'll be more individuals doing the same, A.I might not replace a skilled animator, but it might make cheap, basic job tasks to be done by less skilled creative artists.

Yes, I completely agree with you. As long as it's ethical, I'm all for AI. I think it will open new doors for a lot of people. And for creatives, it can speed up their workflow.

Graphic designers are in most danger?

The points I've mentioned in the video can also be applied to Graphic designers. So no, they're not in danger. Writers aren't in danger. But that's just my opinion.

A person of every profession is sure that so won’t replace them, of course no one would admit
@plainlysimple
Жыл бұрын
No one is really sure. No one really knows. And I even mentioned at the start that I could be wrong. AI replacing artists is a very possible future. And AI not replacing artists is also very possible. But if history is any indication of what is to happen, then my bet is that it won't replace artists. And this is actually the whole point of the video. AI may change the way we work, and maybe in the future, we don't really have to "create" a logo anymore, but even then, graphic designers are still needed. We would need their knowledge, their creative taste, graphic design principles, etc., to use AI (as long as it's ethical) to create a logo that fits the client's needs.

Yes, that is true. And even if AI can approximate movement really well, I don't think it can replace us. I think it will be able to speed up our process.

end of the day AI will be used by masses and those who dont will left behind. Artists should take advantage of it great video btw

Glad you liked it 😊 I've also read somewhere saying something along the lines of "I don't fear ai, I fear the person using ai". Actually, I don't see the masses using AI as a threat to anyone's job. I think it would just be a novelty or like a new toy. What's really game changing would be when artists, people who are really good on their own, begin to use AI in creative ways. That would be a game changer in my opinion.
