That mounting angle does look solid on the two seater 👌👌. These lights could make for some killer nightime videos, and I dig the mask! It was a great touch for the shot!

What made you choose the 2 foot whip instead of anything bigger like a 3 foot and so on?
@CameronNorman26
2 жыл бұрын
@@michaelmessner3169 I wanted whips but didn’t want them to take away from the look of the ride I feel like the 2 foots just added that nice touch but that’s not the first thing you notice , I feel like anything bigger would be the first thing you would see looking at the ride , these keep it nice and sleek is why I went with them

@ItzCameronNorman when they come in the mb whip kit do you just need to mount the rocker and put power to the main wiring harness? I'm about as electrical as a 10yr old
@CameronNorman26

@@markk5304 no worries brother , you can either wire them like i did in the video or if you plan on using a rocker switch you will have to do that separately should be many videos on here explaining how to wire a rocker switch to better explain.

lots of people in the internet tell you you don't need a relay for some whips and to some extent yes but no. almost all whips from 3ft to 6ft the are going to draw from 1A to 4A now in voltages they are drawing about 2.25V/hour the benefit of a relay is to help the load have a more consistent power draw, you are helping your utv electrical system work less and give more in return, a fuse is needed as well as close to the + terminal , the thing about the relay is that the whips still draw power even when turn off and that power leakage over a long period of time of about 1 to 2 years your battery is ☠☠☠☠☠☠☠ and that is the result of bad wiring. you should wire a relay on that accessory to have a clean isolated power source for those whips. trust me you utv electrical system is going to treat you well if you treat her well.

Good Information to know , the whips do have a inline fuse that may not been visible in the video , and I’m no professional electrician , just from my understanding that items hooked to the accessory bus bar do not draw power unless the vehicle is on. So you think I should still do a relay and switch for them ?
@Coyote.five.0
2 жыл бұрын
@@CameronNorman26 yes just to ease off the oem power circuit and even if your side by side is off and key off the whips still draw .0216 mha per minute. thus the relay helping you out isolate that parasitic power draw.
