Thanks dude 🤘this is why I’m posting to my channel. There’s so many expert and pro riders floating effortlessly over jumps and gaps. For me they’re still scary! So I want to show what an average old guy can do in the hope it’ll be relevant to others. This is actually so well built it’s easy and massively confidence inspiring. If you can clear the ac/dc jumps, you’ve got this 100% 🤘🤘

Good effort-how do you find the Atherton bike - thinking of buying one
@Ordinary-Dad-MTB
Ай бұрын
Thanks bud. The Atherton is 100% worth the money. My confidence has improved significantly and my riding buddies all comment that I’ve got faster. First thing I noticed is the sizing (12 sizes in the DH bike, 24 in the others), it felt a perfect fit straight away with better front to back weight distribution than I’ve had before. 2nd big thing, it’s super stable jumping, big confidence booster here. 3rd, it holds a line well, not getting pinged off line as easily and 4th, it’s so so quiet! I’d say trust the website size guide and don’t look back. Best thing you’ll do. Oh and the after service is great, the guys are all very happy to help.

It took Kara Beal 6 years to be able to do this line so it shows it’s all in the mind, also I saw a kid about 13 do this line easy so I think it’s definitely a fear factor, you did good 👍🏾
@Ordinary-Dad-MTB

Thank you 🙏. Yeah 100% agree it’s the fear factor. I think the first 6 months or so of learning to jump, all those sketchy moments.. they stick in the mind long afterwards. Getting this one was a big confidence booster. I feel better knowing Kara took 6 years! She shreds on the jumps 👍🤘

@@mattd2129thank you for the kind words. This is exactly why I continue to upload my very average riding escapades! @888-mtb No probs, the vid is on my channel. So I go easy over the first two, keeping to the right for the berm going fairly high. Then to the left on the gap before the berm, again going high ish. Couple of pedals to clean the next gap then you're good for the Booter 😃 It took me quite a while to be honest. Cased the big one first few times before I got the flow.
