One of the main features of the upcoming Federal budget will be the 'Future Made in Australia' plan.
It involves deploying public funds to help viable zero-carbon industries so they can attract more private investment.
Funding to make solar panels, batteries, green hydrogen and grow critical minerals has already been announced ahead of the budget, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese describing the large-scale industrial policy a "rebuild" of "Australia’s industrial base".
